You can find the apk on the dev forums. Some of the roms have the apks for all of the apps they removed. I believe Fresh has them all.

I'm now running the 7/24 CM6 build and it is so much better than anything else that I'm keeping it even though there's no 4G yet. I came from Fresh 1.0.1 with functional 4G which was great but doesn't come close to CM6. Goodbye forever, sense UI.

Is anyone else having a facebook contact sync issue? I used Facebook to give me pictures for contacts and they all just disappeared from my phone and now Facebook for HTC Sense says I have no contacts. It is set to sync...

And did anyone else notice that your download tab in the Android Market now says Sprint?

Mr. Snerdley is right. I too have been using cyanogenmod since my G1, and again on the Nexus. You got some of the best android Dev's colobrating on this thing, Cyanogen, Chris Soyers, Koush, Toast (new name to me but seems big in the CDMA realm). You really should not be judging based on his nightly releases as they are PRE-Alpha builds and released just becasue of the following they have. The extra features that he has built in are amazing, but you will not see most of those until the release candidate. I would suggest waiting until at least the relase candidate then checking it out. These nightlies are buggy, but what can you expect when a BOT builds a ROM based on 20 different peoples commits they made during the day.

What about your contacts? Something is screwy! A quick google search and it looks like is is HTC Sense phones no matter the carrier.

I have never used the HTC contacts, use Dialer one. Anyway it is happening to the CM6 people as well, and that has all sense wiped from it. The sprint tab really does not bother me, but I want to know why and how that changed.

Atm, I had that problem. I fixed it by clearing out the Facebook data in the settings and removing the accounts from accounts and sync then add them again.

Are those using Froyo still enjoying it? I'm waiting for them to get 4G, HDMI, and FM radio. I might just make a nandroid backup and try it out for a few days/weeks. Just wondering about opinions a few days into using it.

I don't miss 4g to the point I want to switch from CM6. Never used the HDMI or FM radio so that's no big deal.

RC 1 is out as of last night and I'm downloading it as I type.

My friend is running stock 2.1 on his evo and only getting 3.1-3.5 Mflops on Linpack. Isn't that slow even for stock? my hero with fresh toast ROM and overclock gets 2.9-3.3

I would assume thats slow. On the Fresh 1.0.1 I get 7.8 MFLOPS. But once CM6 comes out with an actual release (non-beta or RC) then I'll switch and enjoy Froyo!

For all those using CM6 Do not forget to download chrome-to-phone (works with firefox too). Better than the mflops with Froyo.

Just saw that. But this would be for people that aren't rooted. CM6 is 2.2 and will be a lot better than whatever HTC sends out.

Once he gets 4G working on CM6 then I'm all over it. I use 4G at least a couple hours per day. Plus Fresh is stable and pretty quick, so I can deal with it.
