For the cowboys this is great news, but from a football perspective this is a huge bummer. Dart really looks like a great QB and I was excited to see him play this year after last week. The way he controlled the offense was something.

It's big if for no other reason than the back to back New York/Washington games at the end of the year are now going to be meaningless for them and they'll likely have packed it in for the season. Gives us two games we should win if we are in contention. Meanwhile the Eagles have the Texans and 49ers those weeks IIRC.

Dart and possibly Daniels out for the season. Redskins are horrible but the Giants looked vastly improved until they lost Dart.

What would Spider Lockhart and Doug Kotar say? ( When my Dad was in Vietnam we lived with my Gramma in NY and became Giants fans. Still pull for them. )

Hearing a lot of noise/concern about the playing surface down in Rio. Granted it'll effect both teams but I hope it doesn't lead to any injuries. Apparently, they've had tons of rain the past few weeks. We'll see.

I remember when Dallas played the Oilers in Mexico City during preseason one year. I think the final score was 6-3. the playing surface was awful due to rain. Large chunks of turf would come up every time someone planted a foot to cut.

My grandpa hated Steve Puellor and Hogeboom. Brought back lots of memories when those 2 popped up

Yeah, my Dad HATED Babe Laufenberg.

Guy has been a color analyst for Dallas for as long as I can remember, but before that, he was cannon fodder for my dads football rage. Pretty sure it was justified... even at 10 years old I remember him being terrible!

His son, who sadly died of cancer was on the Aggie football team as a TE.
