I really liked the idea of sending nobody at the end. It made Houston make it the last play and took away any trick play BS.

It really was a stealthily good call, especially with them rushing as soon as it was clear the sideline routes weren't happening. Took the sidelines away and forced the 60 yard instead of 40 yard hail mary. Impressive that something that niche is even in the playbook.

It's easy to rag on the secondary. But the fact is they're young, learning a new scheme, beat up and not getting much help from the pass rush. Jerry needs to find a way to get pass rush help. Do that and a lot of the warts in the secondary will get covered up.

Defense still bad, but looks better than week 1 and last week at least.

Offense is elite.

We caught up to Philly and we haven't lost a game at home yet. We started with 3 hard road games so I can live with 2-2.

And we have a pretty soft 5 game stretch coming up. This team could be 6-3 in a blink.

Wasn't always pretty but really nice win on the road against a team that is clearly good, despite their record.

Thought CP grew in to the game nicely and the defense was really strong for a lot of the 2nd half.

Teams have been consistently doubling and rotating a safety over Pickens this year. Gotta wonder how long Ceedee keeps this up before that changes, because at present he's on pace to seriously challenge both the all time receptions and yards records.

3/10 on 3rd down, a couple of big sacks, forced a couple of 3 and outs. The injuries in the secondary are tough, and Bland was getting punked by collins. But, Joey Porter seems to have been a huge trade bc he was lockdown when he played.

The offense is elite for real. The Texans defense is damn good, and Dak, with help from CD and Pickens, tore them apart in the second half.

Did the league put new rules in place for this year about helmet to helmet contact? Catching a bunch of calls this year for unnecessary roughness and what not that I don't remember being called last year.

Feels like "targeting" has made its way to the NFL which is not good imo - too subjective
