I said damn good, not elite. Their front 4 and pass rush are definitely elite. Their back 7 is average.

They gave up 3 total TDs in 2 of their 4 games. They just happened to have also played the best player in the game and our offense in the other 2 games.

I don't know how you could watch the way they played today and think they aren't one of the best defenses in the league. Obviously aggressive which leads to penalties and getting burned on double moves occasionally, but they weren't playing bad defense today.

But they did allow 400 yards of O, with 335 through the air…

If I remember correctly, they prioritized him in UFA. Had been in contact with him late in the draft and gave him a lot more money than a typical UFA.

Sounds like the Packers Edge Cooper is done for the year. Hate that for the kid, really wish he were playing here.

But it's looking more and more like I'm going to be really upset that we don't have that GB first round pick for next years draft. Not mad at it right now, can't imagine this D with out Quinnen, but it's going to sting once I'm in full draft mode.

Some of the stuff has been ridiculous. The Cardinals-NYG game yesterday was particularly awful, including an official saying "f- you" x3 to Trey McBride.

I guess at the heart of all this is Cooper Beebe. You really don't ever hear anything about the guy. Just goes out there and plays every week and gets it done.
