I want nothing to do with talk of the Cowboys and Super Bowl.

Beat the Eagles.
Win the East.
Make the playoffs.

We'll see where this team is then. I am cautiously optimistic about this team and staff though.

I think our defense is going to surprise a lot of people by the end of the year. They may not start off on fire because of all the new faces but give it time. This group will be middle of the pack by playoff time and that's all we need with this dynamic offense.

Week one is always weird, but this is still pretty surprising IMO. San Francisco is just absolutely dog walking the preseason SB favorites. The Rams look helpless on both sides of the ball.

How much do you think the differing travel schedules played in to this result? The niners went over a week ago and the Rams traveled late trying to stay on a west coast type schedule. I've heard pros/cons for both but me personally, when I've gone overseas, I much prefer the early arrival to get acclimated.

Stafford didnt look sharp. Maybe their offense was too much the same. No new playmaker to scheme in.

I do wonder if Puka wasnt 100%. Garrett already said he wasnt. People forget he missed most of the preseason with a knee issue.

Also the 49ers are a really good football team. Though I suspect injuries will hit them eventually (they are old at spots you dont want to be old).

Not as much as the media played it out. These guys are professional athletes in great shape and backed by billions and billions of dollars. The Rams did some research on this and I am sure they put together a plan that they thought would give them the best results.

I think the Rams just looked like a week one team who hasn't quite put it together yet because of how little they played.

NFL is a strange lady. It's rarely the team with the most horses that wins it all.

I think this is why a surprising # of people are picking the Cowboys to win the SB despite being a lower half team last year. We have a very interesting combo of elite Vets, super talented and hungry young guys, and a staff of coaches that just feels right.

Can't wait for Sunday.

I didn't get to watch the whole game last night but Netflix has a garbage pregame show. The host lady with her gloves was really weird. However, the Friday Night Lights intro was badass.

Theres actually plenty of us around! And I grew up in the Valley when the Oilers moved to Tennessee so the Cowboys were the I my option during my formative years

Yep me too. Dad from San Antonio. Mom grew up in Houston but her dad was from Tyler so they never watched the Oilers and he didn't care about baseball.
