The fact that this verdict took this long is going to make good Samaritans think twice before coming to aid.
At least one juror put future victims at risk. Way to go moron(s).
I travel to NYC a few times per year for work and have for 20+ years. Never had an issue until the past few years. Guy pushed his way past me as he got on the subway (crowded and I was by the door), and threatened to stab me and others. Announced "I have a knife and I will stab someone". No way am I intervening to help others with the nonsense happening there. Looking out for Numero Uno and that's it. I stepped off that car as the doors closed. Good luck to the rest of you
You're comments are quite a bit more diplomatic than mine.
From my POV, the women of NYC would be on their own. It's easy for me to say that, but I'm sure Penny is down $500k in attorneys fees and likely doesn't have a job anymore.
If the women of NYC want woke men, they'll get what they vote for---assault and rape will likely be sign of the times in that city, I'm very sorry to say. So many innocent women will be victimized when potential help was there.
The women are the ones voting for it.
Yeppers!
I was going to reply to my own comment from this morning because I need to state that it would be incredibly difficult to stand by, and not only not help, but also try to make sure other men don't set themselves up to be arrested and likely indicted by the picture of a woke DA's office.
I still think I'd have a hard time standing by and watching, which is why I'd likely just walk away. It would be incredibly difficult.
But the women of NYC live on emotion and apparently support men who can't lead, or don't have opinions.
Until these same women realize, which won't happen, that the party "that supports ALL women" in reality can't wait to see them assaulted, raped, and returned to a second class level. It's classic socialists/communists propaganda. The great thing is they can still abort the child of the rapist.
And yes, I''ve got a little emotion going here, but I guess that makes me a friend of NYC women.
