One thing that does not make sense.
Cole's reaction to the Dragons in battle. I understand they have had many years of peace. But it's not like GOT where there have not been Dragons at all for several years.
So I understand Jaime's reaction after his first battle with them.
But in HOD, dragons have always been around. Everyone respects their power and basically they are viewed as God's. But Cole is totally changed from them and has post dragon battle disorder.

Why would she need someone to impregnate her wives if she were a man?
According to Condal the character is a she who knows she's a she, but the men who follow her basically treat her like a man. I personally thought the character was hilarious, HOTD has been missing comedic moments like theseLB12Diamond said:

I mean nukes exist in our world, but I'm pretty sure witnessing the immediate aftermath of one would be pretty disturbing even for soldiers.

So much for the "they're milking this for 5 seasons" talk.
S3 and 4 really need to be 10 episode seasons. I'm just going to chalk this season up to weird Hollywood budget ****

GOT wasn't awesome because of the action scenes. Those were icing on the cake. The cake, so to speak, was the political intrigue - the backstabbing, the twists, the triple and quadruple crosses.
This show has none of those. In fact, I feel like what few "twists" there have been occurred during action scenes, like Aemond buring Aegon in mid-flight (or whatever their names are). That Larry dude, the supposed Master of Whispers in this show, would get eaten alive by Littlefinger or Varys, lol. This show has pretty much been straightforward as can be.
So in the absence of all of the machinations that made GOT awesome can we at least get some action in this series?

That still means a spring/summer 2026 release, which was expected.
That said, it's never made sense to me why GoT could manage to put out a season every year, yet this show can't. In this day and age, the dragon effects can't take that long, and it doesn't feel like a bigger production either. It honestly feels quite a bit smaller than GoT.
It's just crazy that they announced only two more seasons, along with the end of the show, yet we won't see that ending for another FOUR YEARS, in 2028.
