Criston Cole is a whiny, whimpering beetch. He is the Ross Ghellar of the realm.
He even looks like Ross with facial hair.
I can't unsee it.
I think the only thing with the coin is that Aemond realized they were there to kill him, and the kid was just a back-up plan.redline248 said:
It is pretty amazing how captivating this show can be with very little action. Although, I disagree about the glimpse into the common folk. I don't care, at all.
I can totally get behind Aegon's grief, and I'm happy to see him kick Otto to the curb. If Otto just indulges Aegon's anger in the tiniest, he's still hand at the end of this episode.
I was not a fan of baby Aemond getting mommy time with some *****. I know he didn't mean to kill his cousin, I don't need him whining about it. Also, what is the point of showing him find the coin? Payoff in a later episode?
Rhanerya has always been a strong character, right? Flying in on her dragon and single handedly stopping some conflict in the early days, if I'm not mistaken. I didn't think she'd have been cowering in the corner, unable to get up and run, or fight, while the twin battle was going on. Whatever.
It would be fitting for Criston to head to battle, and then his horse trip in a gopher hole and he falls and breaks his neck. F that dude.
Yes. Very much yes.redline248 said:
No. Will it hurt my brain if I do?
Season 1 is so, so good. 2 & 3 are ok, but kind of a let down after how good 1 was.Brian Earl Spilner said:
Have you seen Dark?

So, how many times during an episode do the rest of you pause to take a few minutes trying to untangle the Targaryen web of who is related to whom and by way of which branch of the incest tree?
Fabien Frankel has now limited his comments on Instagram due to harassment.

Please remember to separate the character from the actor. Fabien has done a wonderful job portraying Ser Criston Cole and he deserves praise for it. #HouseOfTheDragon pic.twitter.com/ojNDTdMvk5
Agreed. And I pray its teenagers just being idiots and not grown adults.TCTTS said:

I know right! And with Daeron out there - that means another dragon is out there for Team Green.canadiaggie said:
I'm surprised no one is talking about the casual Daeron name drop.
I'm glad he's in the story but the way they casually mentioned Alicent and Viserys' THIRD SON for the first time ever was hilarious.
Aemond is so legendary that he avoided the forgotten middle child curse and passed it onto Daeron instead.

Forgot to mention, I did like that we got a little bit of a glimpse into how the common folk are doing, and how they're suffering from the war. We never got much of that in GoT, but now with considerably less characters and locations to deal with, it's something they can do here.
I do wonder what that Velaryon sailor's story is though. Obviously he'll have some part to play now that he's been in two episodes.
