Am I wrong or did the writers completely forget the timeline here? She had the abortion when she was younger than 18, but the scene from the last episode was he being 18 and getting ready to go to college. They made it seem like that was the beginning of her and Rip relationship.emando2000 said:

Does anyone else think it's weird to dance in a horse coral full of dirt as a dance floor? Why not lay some plywood down on the grass in front of the stage and make a dance floor?
It also bothered me that they get all dressed up in starched shirts and jeans and then roll around in the dirt playing some "rope your leg" game. That didn't look fun at all. HAHA

Around the abortion time, she went to Rip and said we have to stop doing this. I think this was her trying to F with him one last time before she left. Or maybe she was infected by the mystical NA boner magic that got Tate last season.

It's cowboy jousting. Just Google it. I've played it with my kids for fun but we dont call it anything in particular. I could absolutely see doing it at a stuffy party after a few drinks with friends and kids.
Dudes of all ages enjoy displays of luck and skill in which a friendly opponent is embarassed or potentially injured.

About two weeks ago sat next to Forrie Smith (Lloyd) on a flight. Didn't chat for more than 10 minutes the entire flight and never talked about the show. He doesn't have to put much effort into acting as he is just like he is on the show.

I am "hate watching" at this point. I zone out during much of the character exposition. This show peaked a few seasons ago.

Well, Forrie isn't quite as good an actor. The love story with Beth wouldn't work. And Forrie is a real honest to goodness cowboy, so his skill set was needed as a working hand.
