i was wearing close captioning glasses and all the names you said were correct except when the women's voices came on it just said female jedi 1 & 2 did not specify and then there was another male jedi 1.

Curious why they only mentioned those specific names then, but it did sound like Ashoka though. IMDB shows that the voices were Ashoka, Ayala, Luminara, & Adi. so link is correct.

Yes, Ashoka would be old, but who knows how her species ages. I'm pretty sure at some point, her character will make an appearance, but I guess at this point she needs to be dead. I was hoping for more, but at least we got a voice. And Kanan was cool as well.

When Rey shot the lightning, it clicked for me. "Whoa, she is a Palpatine?" That was always a possibility I guess, but I thought it was least likely.

Loved how they executed on Rey and Kylo.

One thing that bummed me out was how they reintroduced and explained Palpatine...way too rushed and not enough gravitas.

What's funny is that the edited clip they released last week got me more hyped than the actual moment in the movie.

I loved that. They helped win the Battle of Endor; how the hell you never talk about em again? Gotta show some respect for the war heroes.

It was fun to see which "leaks" were real, and which ones were just clickbait fan theories.

She had been using everybody else's light saber. I figured that was her own light saber. I may be making a simple and dumb assumption. But it just seemed like a new start to me.

When I saw Rey shoot lightning, I thought "is she falling to the dark side? Or is that the hint that she is related to the Emperor somehow?"

My question is why people associate lightning almost exclusively with Palpatine. What about Count Dooku?!

One of the main things I liked most about this was that all the main characters were together for most of the movie. Having them banter and talk to each other is way better than having them all split up on solo missions like in the previous movies.

Also, I thought for SURE that Rey was going to combine luke and leias lightsabers into a light bo staff... they even foreshadowed it in her "training session" when she threw the saber and used her staff to kill the target droid.

Overall I think I'm satisfied. Wasn't the best flick ever but JJ did a decent job taking the pieces from
Where they were to a conclusion. Still can't believe that they didn't sit down and come up with a comprehensive story arc for the three movies as soon as they decided to make a new trilogy.

I assume that was a human female and a male from an alien species where the males look like females. I can handle innerspecies kissing, but two females kissing is unnatural

I wish they would have just replayed the exact scene of Finn when he felt Rey died when Kylo and Rey kissed a few moments later. It would be funny if he felt them kiss and was like 'ahh sh#t!"
