Yeah, going in, I was hoping for actual force ghosts there. Would have been a really cool addition, especially with Kanan and Ahsoka in live action.

Post on one of the Star Wars subs that supposedly comes from an inside source. Take it with a grain of salt (no pun intended) as you would with any inside source, but speaks a lot to corporate meddling and a JJ cut that may exist somewhere.
I think it's just wording. Re-reading it, sounds like that was just fitting within the style guide of what a force ghost would look like, like they were preparing for it.SoulSlaveAG2005 said:
Why the heck does it matter to China what shade of blue is used?

I agree that it does sound fanboy-ish, but that in and of itself is not enough to dismiss the whole thing, imo.
Re: the Reylo thing
You don't have to read between the lines much to see that they were all pretty much against it. So it could well have come from up top and not JJ.

This is the dumbest point on the reddit post by far. Again, this is exactly how a fanboy thinks Hollywood thinks...

As much as I wanted to see some of that cool stuff from the reddit post that is likely BS, I can forego it all to not have to deal with a stupid Finn/Poe homosexual relationship.

The best DCEU movie (MoS) was made by Snyder. I reject your hypothesis.
ReyBen? Shouldn't it be Bey?Dekker_Lentz said:
To combine the reddit conspiracy theory and Reylo, I think there was some poor editing around the Ben Solo arc. TROS tried to make Ben Solo and Kylo Ren two different people, but it was very muddled. There isn't really a Reylo because she didn't kiss Kylo Ren, she kissed Ben Solo. She didn't stab Ben Solo, she stabbed Kylo Ren. So it is ReyBen.
Aquaman was good? I could have written the plot to that movie when I was 11.canadiaggie said:
I hate the faction of DC fans that worship Snyder and think there was a major conspiracy involved to sink him and DC together.
Snyder sunk DC himself. The movies post-Snyder and Justice League have been decent (Aquaman) to good (Shazam) to great (Joker) all because they were made by competent filmmakers who aren't complete hacks enslaved to sepia lenses and faux-intellectual grimdark tone.
This JJ Cut bull**** seems like the twisted fanfiction of those poor souls who keep begging for a Snyder Cut of Justice League, as if a Snyder version would have been any better than the Whedon Frankenstein movie we got.
Aquaman was decent because it knew it was B-movie fare and didn't try to be anything else. The end product was entertaining.MuckRaker96 said:Aquaman was good? I could have written the plot to that movie when I was 11.canadiaggie said:

Man of Steel and Wonder Woman are 1-2. I haven't seen Joker and don't plan to. From there it's just a big ball of trash perfect for Saturday evenings on TNT/TBS.

The showing I went to yesterday mid-day had about that many people in it as well. Non-IMAX.Cstrickland05 said:
Saw it last night, thought it was pretty good. The best of the new trilogy IMO. Didn't care that some of it was Harry Potter in space, but overall enjoyed it.
Curious about the legs this thing has, went to the 7PM IMAX show at the Marqee in Houston and there were maybe 20-30 people in there.
