The writers were on a different level when they had Terry casually mention "it was the 80s and I was coked out of my mind" while they flashbacked to his more eccentric KK3 moments.

I don't think he's that bad. I think that's a choice he makes with his character.

IMO He's pretty much the exact same character he was in the original kk.
I don't think its the lack of acting, moreso he has almost zero character development.

Only thing left in my opinion is for one of the LaRusso kids to die, and that turns Danny to the darker side. Beats up more hockey teams, etc
I binge watched on a NYE flight and thought it was pretty well done. Definitely didn't see the setup with Silver getting Kreese arrested at the end. Next season should be another good one

I enjoyed the first few seasons and I can't say that I didn't enjoy this one on some level but I also didn't think this one was nearly as good as the fist one or even the others. I don't know how long they plan to carry this show on but if it goes on for more than one more season then I'll probably check out.
I'm in the same boat. It was definitely good with some great moments (e.g.,Johnny doing the crane pose and Daniel rolling his eyes), but it wasn't…epic.MBAR said:

I liked if more than season 3. Season 1 is one of the best seasons of television in my opinion. Absolutely perfect.
But how many times are we going to see the bullies become of the bully?
I actually think this has been the best season since the first. The series overall has been pretty good except for season 2, which I did not like at all.

I think this was a pretty good season as well and am definitely excited to see if Miguel ever fights again (I'm thinking he is done which paves the way for Robby), if (when?) Robby defects from Cobra Kai, if Robby and Johnny can actually develop a relationship, how does Tory deal with Silver cheating, do they bring in a new kid from one of the new CK locations to be their male champion if Robby leaves CK, etc.. If it's going past 5 seasons, I wouldn't be surprised if there's no tournament next season (just like Season 3).
I'm surprised that Johnny screaming "QUIET!" still makes me laugh.

I'm still confused by the Carrie Underwood appearance. It was just weird and not in a good or funny way.

I thought it was hilarious. Basically, the tournament hired her to come in and sing an 80s montage.
Johnny yelling at the bartender to STFU was a nice change up to his normal QUIET

Krease realizes how bad Cobra Kai is and he helps (consults from prison) the new Miyagi Do in order to beat Terry Silver.
They beat Terry Silver and Johnny gets his Cobra Kai back. LaRusso continues with Miyagi Do. They become friendly competitors. Everyone goes on to college or on with life...
They've got everything teed up in Season 5 to wrap this up perfectly.
I'm not saying I'm out if they draw this beyond 5 seasons because the shows are short, commercial free, and the seasons have only 10 episodes, but I'll be pretty disappointed if they screw up the good thing they've got going.

There is also Miguel going to Mexico story line. I don't remember if they said this or if I just got the vibe because I watch Narcos, but I somehow have the impression that his dad is a cartel guy. So I expect him to go there and get in deep crap and Johnny/Daniel have to go rescue him somehow. That could be awesome or totally lame, depending on how they do it. Wasn't the prom invite from Tory still being in HS taking Robby who is out of HS? You think he will still be competing past this season? What's the age cut off?
