Only watched Episode I... but wow that was fantastic. Really liked a lot of the 80s references too. Really wasn't expecting a whole lot, but good for them, they really did this thing justice. Looking forward to the rest!

Two eps in. It's surprisingly watchable. Agree about the references and such. If I'm not mistaken, Johnny lives in the same apartment complex that Daniel and his mom did and Daniel is now a member of the same country club that Alli and her family were when he tried to sneak in as a waiter.
Right about the country club but it's not the same apartment. Looks similar. Comes up later.
It's cool how they do the role reversal. I'm told that Ep5 is the one to watch out for. So I'm looking forward to it.TxKng82 said:

I was actually pleasantly surprised that they went the other way with it. Took the laid back 80s vibe and poked fun at some modern / basic SJW values. That was unexpected considering how far left YouTube leans.
Was great, not because of my own personal beliefs, but because it's so much fun to watch a guy who is still sorta stuck back in mid 80s. I can relate... If I found a time machine I would instantly type in 1985 and throw the switch!

I thought it was interesting how neither Johnny nor Daniel were "the bad guy." I hope that Johnny continues to evolve CK into a more well rounded dojo. With Kreese coming back, it will be very interesting next year. I do prefer Miguel to Johnny's son and hope to see him swing back this way with his aggression and stuff if we get a season 2

Also, it's free to YouTube TV subscribers. I didn't realize I got Red with that sub but I guess so....or maybe they just made CK available to subscribers.

ok I am 2 episodes in and loving it.... great feel to the whole thing and the role reversal (kind of ) is awesome. Plus all the 80s nostalgia.
