One more season sounds good. I'm still enjoying the show, but it's starting to feel like they're running out of story.

I'm in the minority perhaps, but I'm quite ok with Hilary Swank/Julie not being a part of the last season. I'd prefer her film be in its own forgotten universe much like Rocky 5.
Let's see if Hilary Swank can even appear. She's pregnant with twins, looks like an April birth and then she has a show on ABC. Schedule may be full.

It's so ridiculous at this point I just shook my head during this entire episode.
i dont know what people are complaining about... Karate fights break out all the time at Frat Parties and Batting Cages, i mean who hasnt punched a fastball in the middle of a fight.

Agreed, it has always been brainless fun, but when the stupidity reaches a level I start having self-introspective moments, the stupidity has reached beyond-the-pale proportions.
In season 2, he had them training in a concrete mixer for crying out loud. Yet everybody loved that season. To act like this one finally went over the top makes no sense. It's always been over the top.RightWingConspirator said:

This show jumped the shark in season 2 with the ridiculous school brawl that was one of the dumbest things I've ever seen on tv. Like season 2, this season has been just ok. I thought last season was the best of the show and should have ended then. My biggest gripe is the kids are just too old to be playing their parts. It's approaching Beverly Hills 90210 territory.
I agree with all the points. This show is mindless fun and really doesn't want too many probing questions into why things happen. The answer is usually, for more drama or more laughs.
I will say two things about the show, first Mrs. LaRusso is often used to point out the absurdity of the show and I feel her dialogue is often the writers pointing out they understand the absurdity of the show and the situations.
Second, the show also has some interesting things to say on how hard it is to actually forgive people and to actually meaningfully change as a person.
All that being said it's clear they have run out of story steam and I am glad this is the last season. Still enjoying it, but it time to end.

I've loved this show since day 1 when it was released on YouTube Red. Watched all five episodes last night and it is pretty terrible.
Miyagi Fang Karate Logo is incredible
This show is great and doesn't take itself seriously so I don't know why people are complaining.
Glad it's back for a final season, the show earned a final season to let them end it how they want.

I was told there are three parts. Part 3 in 2025.
Also, I half expected to see poop pants kid on the Cobra Kai sideline where Tori showed.
