There are some good moments in it. The T Rex attack on their mobile labs is maybe the best sequence in entire series. It is an amazingly exciting and frightening scene.

I love the revisionist history that JW and TFA were somehow not flicks that finally did their franchises justice after several lackluster attempts in previous sequels/prequels.

And Pratt + Velociraptors + Motorcycle most definitely = AWESOME

If it's going to be called JURASSIC WORLD maybe they might try a little character development of some guests at the very costly resort. Go back to the model of the original WESTWORLD and work from there. And if the producers are going to spend millions on special effects, they might invest in a real screenplay that doesn't try to develop a romance between two characters who heartily dislike each other. In the scenes where Bryce Dallas Howard was running from the dinosaurs, I was rooting for the lizards to catch her.

I don't know if this actress has any idea what she's talking about - "soon" could mean next week with The Mummy (Universal's only live-action blockbuster this summer), or "soon" could mean sometime in the next few months. We got the first teaser trailer for Jurassic World on Thanksgiving Day, roughly six months before the movie hit theaters. But with the massive success of JW, it wouldn't surprise me if Universal decides to tease the sequel a lot earlier this go-around. Again, The Mummy is probably the biggest movie left on Universal's slate this year, so a teaser with it next week wouldn't be out of the question (just about a year out from JW2's release), but they could easily drop a teaser with any big movie this year, so who knows? Maybe we'll get a summer teaser and then a longer teaser trailer with Justice League or The Last Jedi later this year?
