How the hell do you tie in a documentary about a black superstar athlete who brutally murdered 2 white people to be in honor of victims of police violence?
I mean I get the setting of the time and the LA riots and the narrative he used to set the scene of the doc, but that seemed a bit odd.

I never agreed with the notion of La La Land being a hollywood circle jerk...mainly because I have see The Oscars before. I like a lot of the oscars, but I dont give a damn about speeches like this one by the president.
I can't shake the memory of Kimmel crying over a lion getting shot. That was so strange and out of character but who knows?
