That's been done before about various films before. I don't see a reason to start a thread about politics in Hollywood/film/tv when we vastly know the politics of those involved and it won't get much discussion, even more so if it pertains to the topic at hand. And no, TC doesn't get a pass on it because he focuses on the motive for movies and is knowledgeable of the industry.

TC was hardly being piled on, and I was driving the point home to make the point that the Oscars aren't about entertainment as much as they are about Hollywood being themselves, of which their politics aren't a mutually exclusive topic.

Sorry I apparently offended your delicate sensibilities.
You're a useless poster that provides nothing to this board that I have ever seen. You don't give your opinion on anything, you just attempt to pick fights or insult people. Go back to politics.

At this point, I don't even care what's being said about me now but I do find it humorous that someone actually decided to use the ignore function on me. I actually wasn't even sure I'd press post on that, but decided that I might as well since I spend an inordinate amount of time in this forum and largely post here.

Hell, TCTTS and I were posting theories back and forth about TFA playing out with a bunch of other people in the Star Wars thread before it came out. Fun times, which while a different topic, we really haven't heard much of a peep about the movie other than when they filmed that scene outdoors for leaks which is a change from TFA when by now people had pretty much the first act laid out.

I thought the convo would die down naturally overnight and I could take a bit of a break. But it didn't, and I felt like I should respond. Then a bunch of trailers/news hit and I wanted to stay up to date.
