I know I'm the resident Natalie defender, but I have to do it once more. I'll preface it by saying she isn't perfect and has been annoying on the feeds, can't let stuff go, and has been much less likable the last few weeks. I still think she is the least repulsive of everyone left except Vic. The edit last night was unbelievable, it made her look like a heartless user and James as some innocent victim. I was watching live when she told James she'd not talk to him if he worked with Nic and Corey, she apologized almost immediately and said she didn't really mean it, that it was the heat of the moment but they conveniently left that out, I just went back and watched the show's edited version and they showed her walking out the door, but cut out her apology. She came back and apologized again as well. The fist few seconds of the clip below show it.

Obviously she shouldn't have said that but she was really upset about going home and knows it is because she trusted James telling her to trust Nic and Corey even though it went against her gut. She has said she is to blame because she did put Vic and Paul up, but she does blame his pushing to work with NiCorey as well. Plus the DR was really in her ear that week pushing for the showmance alliance. Even in that conversation James was clearly lying about working with Nic and I think that is what was really setting her off.

As for her "throwing James under the bus" I don't think she intended to and just wasn't very articulate with what she was trying to say. When she said she trusted the wrong people I'm 95% sure she was referring to Nic and Corey. She did say she wished she hadn't listened to James' advice about trusting them but she told that to James' face numerous times. That is the most negative thing I've heard her say about James the entire game, where he has crapped all over her numerous times.

The night before last Nat and James were in the hot tub having one of their passive aggressive type semi-arguments. She was sad and clearly wanted to be left alone and he kept following her and prodding her to tell him what was wrong. Vic and Paul came out and the bullhorn guy shouted over the wall that James and Nicole have a pregame alliance 5 times. They immediately went to fish and feeds were down for a really long time. When they were out James and Nat got in a big fight and I guess he said a lot of really mean things to her and that was why she almost self-evicted. When the feeds came back she was in bed crying and he was in the Tokyo room hard core trashing her to everyone else. This is just a snippet of what he told everyone else.

quote:
James: Then she got all, I ain't gonna lie, I slipped up about the throwing under the bus thing, and that's like the ONLY thing she heard.

Paul is still curious about why Nat put him on the block. FRENCH FRIES!

Nic: You mentioned the flirting thing with her and Corey?

James: I said it's a little convenient things didn't work out between you and Vic, you flirting with Corey, you had a lot of info about Paulie but you didn't tell me until you got PISSED at him. (Said in snarky voice)And now, it's...ya got James. It's kind of conveeeenient for you. I said to her, your actions go along with your intentions, and now your true colors are coming out.

Of course later he apologized but continued to lie to her during his apology. He did what everyone accuses her of doing and totally "victimized" himself. He said he had considered dropping the "L word" but I don't see how with the way he has acted in the house and the things he has said about her that even if her feelings for him were every genuine there is any way she will give him the time of day outside of the house. I think he knew he was busted for his alliance with Nic and went off on Nat to deflect. I highly doubt CBS will show any of it, they aren't about to make their golden boy look bad. They are making sure he gets AFP again if they don't get their dream scenario of a Nic/James final two.

Ehh, I do agree the show heavily slanted against her favor. Doesn't change my opinion of her sucking, though. Everytime I turn on the live feeds she's having a pitty party in a bedroom.

I hate this game, I'm just too nice, caring, honest, trusting, etc to do well in this game. I can't stay in this house another week. Etc.

At least the other HG are actually interacting with one another.

A couple nights ago they have the HG alcohol so everyone was hanging out in the kitchen. It was actually entertaining to watch but Natalie quickly went back to the bedroom to sulk and James quickly felt guilty and went to sulk with her.

Why did they need the pipes to unscrew the blocks anyways? They could have easily just twisted the square "locks" and gotten out. The keys didn't really do anything unless there was some kind of mechanism someone watching controlled.

And eff Natalie. I've gotten a lot of grief on this thread for disliking her. She needs to quit playing the little ***** victim and sack up and take some responsibility. She is the one who told the house she wanted to vote out Corey over Vic when they had a final four deal with Corey and Nicole.

Saying if you work with them after she's gone, I'll never talk to you again is messed up. You wouldn't say that to someone you genuinely care about.

I said it weeks ago and got some grief... She's ****ing awful.

Her voice and personality are bad enough... God I hate the way she talks, and if I hear her say "I'm skeeeeeered" like a damn 12 year old again I will lose it.

I know it's a game, but I can't respect someone who fakes liking someone like that. Poor James is so dumb and ***** whipped he cant see through her bull***** And the way she talked to him tonight? Terrible person.
Has James even hit that? I feel like he's been in the friend zone for the entire season and hasn't realized it unless I missed something.

not the same. Meg was clear about him being in the friend zone.

Natalie started "dating" him and has led him on big time.

True. I guess I meant he went sniffin and never made a move last year either.

So true. In fact, the torque from the pipes to unscrew the plates would be even less than the torque gathered from using your own hands on the outside of those plates. Very Rube Goldberg-ish there.

I think the point of the comp was not to use your hands directly, but to use objects.

She has been having a bit of a pity party, but I can't really blame her. Most people do when they know they are going home. They are continuing to lie to make it seem like James is going to screw with her, but she knows that it is a bunch of BS. I don't blame her at all for not wanting to hang out with those people, all they have been doing all week is talk crap about her and they don't really hide it very well. After she apologized to Vic and Paul for backstabbing them and admitting she screwed up her HOH, Paul came out of the diary room and was telling people how he "s**t" all over her in the DR and she overheard it. I wouldn't want to hang out with them either. Being stuck in that house for 80+ days knowing people have been making fun of you can't be easy, plus there is no outlet and nothing to keep you from obsessing on it.

I try not to buy into the conspiracy theories about production rigging comps, but this one looked super shady. They had earpieces on and Nic said (approx. 10:32p on 9/7) that she didn't know the key floated until they told her. I suppose it is possible that whoever went before him tipped him off, but even if that was the case that is BS, they shouldn't have any contact with someone who has already ran it. I can't figure out any reason how he would have walked straight to that pipe without even looking around the room unless someone told him. It was one of my favorite comps that they have done, but this really taints it.
htxag09
How long do you want to ignore this user?

He could have been tipped off, or he could have been lucky. People ran straight towards something in every room. Nicole ran straight towards the power switch, most ran straight towards the manhole cover. In the second room, most ran straight for the lockers, some ran straight for the paper towel dispenser, and some the water. In any comp like this, you're going to have people that get lucky, guess right, etc. And you'll always have a situation in which people can point out something fishy if they didn't like the winner.

Besides, if they're going to tip someone off wouldn't it be James or Natalie. Either way, this week wasn't going to be really exciting, but having one of them off the block would have helped slightly.

someone post a screen shot of the room. I am pretty sure the two pipes were black and everything else was grey. Obvious in hindsight.

Couldn't find a screenshot, but here is a clip. I'd be less skeptical if Nic hadn't said that they told her the key floated.

They didn't want Nat to win because if she came down Nic would have gone up and then one of their golden children would have gone home. Only way for Nic to stay safe is for her or Corey to win.

After watching that clip again, it doesn't seem far-fetched that Corey would figure it out fast. He took a quick look around, saw that there was only 2 clear tables with no drawers, a manhole, and wall mounted items. He quickly went to the closest wall-mounted item which was clearly a different color, highlighting it against the grey wall.

I missed the episode, but Natalie went home like expected. I just checked out the live feeds, and Corey looks to be crushing this comp. Paul, and especially, James are having a hard time. They keep falling down. Expect your boy and your other boy to be on the block this week.

Wasn't Natalie the impetus for wanting to flip on Vic and Paul in the first place? I thought that she found out that Paul originated the "FT's" nickname, which led directly to her wanting Paul on the block, leading to the alliance with Nicorey to get it done. That's what sent Vic home in the first place. It was Natalie's idea, right? She complained to James, so he went to arrange everything with Nicorey.
aggie98infl
How long do you want to ignore this user?

The main reason she went after Paul is Nic told her that he was going after James. I think the FT thing probably played into it as well. James insisted Nic and Corey were trustworthy so she believed Nic I think she regretted it pretty quickly and that is why she pushed James to vote out Corey (I think James voted out Vic partly out of jealousy and partly because of his deal with Nic). I feel like going after Paul wasn't the worst plan, she just went about it horribly. They should have put up Nic and Corey and then tried to backdoor Paul, but both James and the DR pushed hard for her to work with NiCorey. Of course she also had no idea that someone was coming back and Vic returning really killed any chance she had.

I'd be shocked if Corey doesn't win this one, he is more than half ful. Nic got the bigger scoop, but I don't know if it is enough to catch up.

Just now watching the show. James and Nat had a pretty intense fight. Good for James for standing up for himself somewhat. Though some of what he said crossed the line.

And I understand the whole upset for trusting Nic and Corey thing. But they didn't even put them on the block when they could have last week. She could have voted out Corey, they'd eventually be back on the block and they'd be saying they shouldn't have voted out Corey.

Corey wins! And tells Nicole that he is going to put up Victor and Paul. He tells what he will say is his reasoning, one bring they went after his buddy, Paulie while having an alliance.
Corey has been playing a good game. Has kept bigger targets, Paulie, Nicole, Victor in front of him, not making waves, not being a comp beast, but winning when needed. Don't think they have even realized until now how many vetoes Corey has won. Has been a sleeper.
Not sure if winning this HOH was best but don't think he could risk VP putting up him and Nicole.
tamc12
How long do you want to ignore this user?

About the comp, they were told they had to use an object to open the manhole cover.
If you notice they all start looking for something, Cory just recognized what he needed.
People continually talk about Corey being stupid, but he is far from it.
He has wisely let Nicole take lead and attention off of himself.

I said this weeks ago, Natalie is a self inportant b***h. She portrayed Victor on national tv as someone that sexually harasses women and then did worse to Paulie after the sl*t crawled under the bed with him. She doesn't care that she is possibly ruining their reputations.
I recognized she was bad news, when within the first couple weeks 3 guys SHE hit on, Corey, Victor and Paulie kicked her to the curb, rejected her, even though she is a very pretty girl. Those guys saw her as really bad news, early in. Corey even said one night, before Paulie left, on BBAD he hates her, hates her! And then said it again.
That really convinced me, something is up with that girl, Corey is not type to just trash someone.
RockInspector
How long do you want to ignore this user?
I'm starting to think Corey might just be out playing everyone right now. He doesn't get all upset when he goes on the block and just lets everyone else shoot themselves in the foot...or take the lead as far as putting a target on their own backs. He has stayed true to the bro alliance (even though it got blown up) and has used Nicole as a very effective shield/target to stay under the radar. He has won at least 5 comps and has clearly thrown a few and even tied for first in another one (but lost the tiebreaker).

He is playing up the dumb jock and up until recently, the house never considered him a comp threat. Is he boring? Yes. Has he put himself in a great position? Yes. Is he nonchalantly playing the best game right now? I think so. Do I want him to win? Nope...still on team Vic!!

That said, so glad Natalie is gone...did not care for her at all.

This is setting us up for a final 2 of James/Nicole. It's ridiculous that they let two people in the house that are friends in real life. Terrible, I'm disappointed in myself that I get sucked in to such tripe.

Still holding out hope that James could be back doored this week. The next interesting thing will be to see who puts the knife in Corey's back, James or Nicole. I hope like hell the remainder out of Paul/Victor wins HOH next week and puts up Nicole/James.

Also, that initial scenario looks to be right out of Dr. Seuss.

Would love that scenario, but James won't use POV if he won it.

Interestingly, no one has incentive to throw the POV comp this week. Stakes are high.

Is POV comp today? Tomorrow? Sunday? I imagine if Paul wins POV, then Vic is gone and vice versa. You aren't going to get James or Nicole to vote against the other.

Even though my favorite to least favorite remaining HG list goes Vic -> Paul -> Corey -> the stuffed squirrel -> pablo -> the lice in Paul's beard -> Nicole -> Bridgette's plant -> James's toe nail fungus -> James, it still would be entertaining for Nicole to turn on Corey in favor of James. I guess that's basically what I am rooting for at this point.
