I know I'm the resident Natalie defender, but I have to do it once more. I'll preface it by saying she isn't perfect and has been annoying on the feeds, can't let stuff go, and has been much less likable the last few weeks. I still think she is the least repulsive of everyone left except Vic. The edit last night was unbelievable, it made her look like a heartless user and James as some innocent victim. I was watching live when she told James she'd not talk to him if he worked with Nic and Corey, she apologized almost immediately and said she didn't really mean it, that it was the heat of the moment but they conveniently left that out, I just went back and watched the show's edited version and they showed her walking out the door, but cut out her apology. She came back and apologized again as well. The fist few seconds of the clip below show it.
Obviously she shouldn't have said that but she was really upset about going home and knows it is because she trusted James telling her to trust Nic and Corey even though it went against her gut. She has said she is to blame because she did put Vic and Paul up, but she does blame his pushing to work with NiCorey as well. Plus the DR was really in her ear that week pushing for the showmance alliance. Even in that conversation James was clearly lying about working with Nic and I think that is what was really setting her off.
As for her "throwing James under the bus" I don't think she intended to and just wasn't very articulate with what she was trying to say. When she said she trusted the wrong people I'm 95% sure she was referring to Nic and Corey. She did say she wished she hadn't listened to James' advice about trusting them but she told that to James' face numerous times. That is the most negative thing I've heard her say about James the entire game, where he has crapped all over her numerous times.
The night before last Nat and James were in the hot tub having one of their passive aggressive type semi-arguments. She was sad and clearly wanted to be left alone and he kept following her and prodding her to tell him what was wrong. Vic and Paul came out and the bullhorn guy shouted over the wall that James and Nicole have a pregame alliance 5 times. They immediately went to fish and feeds were down for a really long time. When they were out James and Nat got in a big fight and I guess he said a lot of really mean things to her and that was why she almost self-evicted. When the feeds came back she was in bed crying and he was in the Tokyo room hard core trashing her to everyone else. This is just a snippet of what he told everyone else.
Of course later he apologized but continued to lie to her during his apology. He did what everyone accuses her of doing and totally "victimized" himself. He said he had considered dropping the "L word" but I don't see how with the way he has acted in the house and the things he has said about her that even if her feelings for him were every genuine there is any way she will give him the time of day outside of the house. I think he knew he was busted for his alliance with Nic and went off on Nat to deflect. I highly doubt CBS will show any of it, they aren't about to make their golden boy look bad. They are making sure he gets AFP again if they don't get their dream scenario of a Nic/James final two.

quote:
James: Then she got all, I ain't gonna lie, I slipped up about the throwing under the bus thing, and that's like the ONLY thing she heard.
Paul is still curious about why Nat put him on the block. FRENCH FRIES!
Nic: You mentioned the flirting thing with her and Corey?
James: I said it's a little convenient things didn't work out between you and Vic, you flirting with Corey, you had a lot of info about Paulie but you didn't tell me until you got PISSED at him. (Said in snarky voice)And now, it's...ya got James. It's kind of conveeeenient for you. I said to her, your actions go along with your intentions, and now your true colors are coming out.
