James had good talk with Nat after veto. He knows Paulie is running things. He's not sure how to attack the problem though.

James is a dumb.ass. Can't wait for him to go home. When he was HOH, he could have flipped the house and taken someone from the big alliance out. Neither Bridgette or Frank we're going to win, so taking them out didn't accomplish anything.

Now James is going to get mowed down by Paulie 2-3 weeks into jury just like he was last year by Vanessa.

What real days are nominations, veto comp, and veto ceremony?

Nominations are Friday afternoon, Veto Comp is Saturday and the Veto Ceremony is Monday.

So then who is nominated and who won veto?

Paulie won pov, which is why all the talk of a Day backdoor, or Nicole/Natalie pawn scenarios are being brought up

Bridgette and Paulie were nominated. Paul wanted volunteers to be a pawn. He wants Bridgette gone, but Paulie has been pushing hard for a Day backdoor. Once again he will probably get what he wants especially since he won the veto.

Natalie won the Have Not pass (because America sucks). That was announced Friday before nominations so her name started getting thrown around as going up as the pawn instead of Paulie. I can't stand Paul but he stood his ground and wasn't going to risk Nat going home on his HOH. Even Michelle said she might send Nat home over Bridgette after the announcement. He wants to make sure a strong woman goes home in Bridgette or Day, he thinks Nat is worthless and the girls can go after her themselves. It sucks Nat won this one because it is worthless, if anything it puts an even bigger target on her. Plus she can no longer win any of the other, better Care Packages.

Just turned on bbad and everyone looks hammered. They give them liquor tonight?

Yeah, they got beer and wine. Plus Paul had beer from his HOH. I think he had the most to drink. I think both Paulie and Cory are Have-Nots so they aren't drinking and neither was Bridgette (her ankle is bothering her still) or Natalie. Nicole drank a bunch and she and Paul got mad cause Vic drank the rest of their beer saying they didn't need anymore.

Yeah, Paul and Nicole were just sitting on the hoh couch giggling at each other.

And nicole just fell out of the hammock.

She was already in the next couple of targets on their boot list, Day, Bridgette then Nat. They make fun of her all the time, the guys call her FT for fake tits, because she wouldn't admit that she had them, so now that is all they talk about. The girls are super jealous. They already think they are getting a mean girl edit but instead of being nice to her now that they know America likes her, they have doubled down on the nastiness. I really think if Paul put her up (which he has talked about because it would be "hilarious" for her to go home right after winning the care package) she would leave, even over Bridgette. It is really sad because I think she is probably one the nicest, most genuine people ever on BB. The girls are nasty *****es though and can't believe that she is really that nice.

Corey was just telling James about College Station and how awesome game day is. Talking about taking him to a game.

Yeah. I always play psychologist to why some HG's act the way they do, but I'm not one and I did not stay at a Holiday Inn Express last night.

That being said, and this goes for a lot of the more "persuadable" personalities each year....obviously the show typecasts them for the stupid DR session comments that you hear at the end of their sessions where it'll be like "this cowboy said NO to that rodeo" and stupid **** if it's a dude from the south, etc.

So I think they encourage the HG's to play up that character in there and sometimes even promote the idea to do it in the house at times or during comps. Some HG's really buy into that and do it. I mean, other than the same people and and the same **** every day, the DR session is the only time you talk to people with any connection with the outside world, so I think some trust in that idea too much.

Natalie has been getting more "cheery" at times the last couple weeks. Then again, in her mind, winning a care package from America probably tells her "you're doing everything right, keep doing that and more" so it probably doesn't help.

But she still fine.

The guys are openly mocking Natalie's Ft's in front of her and she doesn't understand the reference.

Paulie is on a super high, and acting extremely arrogant. Hes letting everyone know Zakiyah can go whenever the others want, mocking Michelle and Zakiyah for thinking they're playing the game but he knows everything going on, etc.

If he keeps winning he can back that up but if not, he'll follow an all too familiar tune if a top dog who ran his mouth too much and got shown the door.

It really seems like the house has multiple potential boiling points with various factions. I hope Day realizes quickly this week she's the target and we get some drama.

You almost have another Brigade with Paulie, Paul, Corey, and Vic. Not as solid, and PP seem to be running everything right now. They don't want any women getting to the end. Curious if anyone in that house can wake up to what's going on. Nicole, Meech, or James will have to put that together and see if they can figure out and stop PP.

agree. It's not as well formed, but I see it too. They seem to be coalescing.

It's kind of pathetic that Nicole and Z can't pull their head out of the sand and realize that the guys are about to stream roll all of them. They are more concerned with hanging out with the guys they like and I think it's clear they like Corey and Paulie much more than Corey and Paulie like them. Maybe the boys deserve some credit for keeping them in their back pocket enough where they would never go after them. Not a good look for the girls, especially when Nicole said at the first of the season that she let a boy run her game the last time around. History has repeated itself. (Admittedly, I didn't watch her first season, and BB17 was actually my first.)

Natalie says she could've been on the Bachelorette - she got a call for that - but she chose BB & she loves playing the game.

I believe Corey talked about possibly being contestant on Bachelorette too. It's pathetic how much cbs just goes straight to the garbage bin pile of wannabe reality stars who submit resumes to every show through their "agent" instead of relying purely on original submissions or casting calls in cities where people show up and interview

Completely agree. The show would be way better for it.

I don't hate Natalie or anything like that but outside of her forced showmance with James and still thinking she's on the jets sideline, she bring next to nothing to the table. The same for Corey, really. The most bland dude I've seen on the show.

I actually think Natalie has it in her to be a good player, but she got in with the wrong group early on. Now she is hooked up with James, who is giving her terrible advise. She has good instincts (she's onto Paul and Paulie running things) but she doesn't seem to have confidence in herself. James shoots down valid points that she makes and doesn't include her in anything. Last night her told her not to talk game even with him (he literally put his hand over her mouth as she was trying to talk). Every time she has wanted to talk the HOH he has told her not too and gone to talk for her. Unfortunately she is trusting his advise and I don't think her really has her back.

Another casting issue this season is the sibling and returning players. The cast list leaked and most of them knew who was going to be there. Both Paulie and James got advise from Derrick. Derrick's dad is James' "manager". Nicole and Cody's families are close. I read somewhere that Paulie was even involved in some of the casting process. He went so hard after Tiffany because Derrick told him to get rid of Vanessa if she was there.

Watching BBAD as I got to sleep and I just do not understand Paulie and Z's relationship. She takes their relationship way too seriously and is way too emotional and ignorant to play this game. Paulie is really condescending in their talks and doesn't know how to make his point concisely, leading to him just talking down to her over and over until she cries. Not sure how they still have a thing going on since neither seems happy.

I think Paulie getting close to Z is going to ruin his game when their relationship inevitably blows up in front of the rest of the house.

So the care package thing is basic America's choice influencing the game.

Next week's care package is the person can keep 2 hg's of their choice from voting in the next eviction.

Bridgette or James will win it likely. I assume they won't be a target, but it could present a chance to flip the house I suppose after production floods te hg's with questions about Paulie running the house..

Boy, I'm getting tired of "Meech" and her blubbering! Good lord, you're a grown woman, not a 6-yo. And to throw such a fit over causing a bruise in Paul? Ugh. Get over yourself.

Still can't figure out what Bridgette did to make her such a target. Yeah, she was attached to Frank but he's gone. She's now a (probably) more-than-willing ally.

Interesting with what y'all were saying about them discussing Natalie that NONE of that played last night. I fully expected when they were "working with" Da'vonne they'd bring up Nat as a possibility. Instead, Nicole was the "target".

Meech is bottom of the barrel for me but I judge these people based on how much they would get on my nerves in real life. .

Bunk is probably right though that production encourages them to play up the character they were cast to be, and some likely lay it on thicker than others.

I was mad at him for voting out Day, but that made me happy lol
