The jazz music during the Dodge commercial was ridiculous...

I thought I'd leaned on the remote control and it flipped over to Benny HIll.

So does Jax get the Mayhem vote? Just like Clay or go out on his own?

I think Gemma does herself in.

Right after Jax finds out, Marx blows him up

I am just now getting around to watch the aftershow. Third host in 4 weeks . This guy is actually doing well. I thought one of the conversations was very interesting.

The hosts asks "Jimmy what is your relationship with Drea's (Wendy) character?" Jimmy and Kurt immediately look at each other and laugh. I am wondering if that was a 'we know they hook up in the last 2 episodes but we can't say' laugh.

She later says "I'm always in love with outlaws" and "We have no agenda other than OUR children"
I think the prediction of Nero and Wendy riding off into the sunset is going to happen.

What was the significance of the mileage marker at the end of the episode? I feel like I was supposed to know what that meant but I have no clue.

I was curious if she is taking the same route she took earlier when she had Juice. I thought I still had that episode on dvr, but it's gone.

I think the car chase music was some kind of homage to 60's cop shows. Sutter is such a dork. This is not an ARTSY show. It's a mediocre soap opera about motorcycle gangs.

Either that or vintage porn.

Did anybody else notice how bad Jax's accent was in this episode? I know it has been brought up multiple times in the past. But, you would think after all of these years, he would be able to cover it up better not worse than he did before.

It comes out when he yells or tries to act.

Most of this episode was pretty good. Didn't understand why Jax was running from the cops when they have approached him many times before and held him for questioning or sent him to jail.

The car chase was horrible. The music didn't fit at all and there were parts where they actually sped up scene to make the cars look like they were going faster. As someone that has a good amount of experince with the Dodge challenger I know it doesn't move like that.

Gemma giving Able the ring and talking about how we can wear it when he patches into the club should cement her place as worst grandmother ever. After all the death and distruction, families torn apart, members going to jail, that is what you want for your grandson? Someone please kill the B already.

I did think Nero's phone call scene was the best thing on the show in at least 2 seasons. Good job Jimmy.

Unser was planning to press charges for assault. Jarry put out an APB on him.

you really think he was worried about an assult charge from Unser? Besides Unser just wanted them to hold him so he didn't go off on a killing rampage.

But the cops roll to talk to him all the time. Jarry was there when it happened, why would Jax think she'd do nothing when it happened then come to get him later?

Didn't she give the ring to Abel? Taras step-son?

Yes, my post referenced from Abel's position - she killed his step mom and 'encouraged' his 'first mommy' to commit suicide.

I was only half paying attention when Jax took off. Isn't Barosky's coffee shop in Stockton? If so, wouldn't those have been his dirty Stockton cops? I still think that scene was created as a commercial for the car, rather than choosing the car for the chase.

No, I don't think he was worried about an assault charge, but he did not want to be detained. Which is what the cops were trying to do.* Out the back door...steal a car...high speed chase...

*How else was Sutter supposed to shoe horn that Dodge commercial in?

Yeah I took it as he was trying to catch up to Gemma and he couldn't do that if he was locked up.

Plus...Isn't Marks still locked up. Can't imagine he would want to get thrown into the clink with him.

As soon as I saw it was a suped up sports car I thought out load...Yeah right it just so happens the first car he runs into is a race car.

Woulda been better if he stepped out the back and hopped and Chucky happen to be there on his vespa. Now that woulda been an impressive getaway.

Thought this was one of the best episodes of the last few seasons. Jax and Nero had some solid scenes. I think the jazz was on in the car before Jax got in.

I finally caught up. Watched the last three episodes in the last two nights.

I'm glad I ended on the one I did, that left a better taste in my mouth than if I would have ended on either of the previous two. These episodes are so freaking long that each one is multiple night's worth of normal after work TV. Fortunately my wife is out of town so I could catch up.

I've already purged most of the stuff from the previous two, but this week's had some great moments. Juice with Unser and Jarry was great. Complete dead man walking and played it really well. Nero on the phone was great. Jax actually had a couple of really good scenes as his world is crumbling around him.

Oh, has anyone noticed the new Pres of Indian Hills looks a lot like that comedian Jon Reep, of "That Thing Got a Hemi?" fame?
