I get all that.

She seems like she's up to more than just trying to protect her interests though (especially since Unser was asking her what she was up to).

Maybe not. Maybe that's all it is.

Clay's getting shot made me forget about the Irish meet on the reservation. I wonder how that goes down now and how it affects Juice.

Maybe that's how Juice gets out of this. Wish I was confident Bobby could, love his character.

Clay getting shot means he can't meet with the IRA and will not get nailed for RICO. Who will take his place?

Prediction: Jax's baby momma will lawyer up and keep their son from leaving the state. (Tara won't be able to take the new position in Oregon, this will be a big part of season 5.)

Could they even bust them on the reservation without the help of the tribe?

Actually, I was thinking that Gemma will either get her to fall off the wagon or make it look like she fell off the wagon.

I think we may see that Ope wasn't trying to kill Clay. Seems to me if he was trying to kill him he could have easily put it in his forehead from 15 feet away.

Think these shots may simply be a mind game being played. Kind of a 'I could have killed you but didn't...I'll get mine eventually. Thank Jax not me'.

After re-watching the scenes from next week, Clay is definitely not dead, and the club doesnt know it's Opie...as they are going after the black motorcycle gang.

I just completed the last episode. That makes 51 episodes in 10 days in a mission to catch up before the finale!

In the past 2 months, I have watched all of Breaking Bad and now all of Sons and I can't tell which one I'm more addicted to! Both are incredible in their own ways, but right now, it's Sons slightly edging Breaking Bad for me. I can't wait for the last 2 episodes!

Also, I'm with those that said they were blown away by the finale of season 3. Epic television right there (watched that one 3 times). Somehow, I think Sutter is going to impress us again over the next two weeks.

You sir are either unemployed, a student, or won the lottery (and thus don't do anything work wise).

51 eps in 10 days!?!?!!?!? Geez Louise!!!!!!

Gainfully employed and very tired! I did most of that after the wife and kids were in bed...I couldn't put it down. The thanksgiving break helped a lot with Sons. It took much longer to get through Breaking Bad.

About 45 minutes per episode, 51 episodes...a little under 40 hours of programming...very impressive

That's very impressive!!

I LOVE this show!! Wish more of my irl friends watched so we could discuss it!

I'm so pumped for tonight's episode! Hoping Bobby can get out of it but I highly doubt it.

Is it possible that Otto dies/kills himself very quickly and Bobby becomes their new "prison guy"? Working certain things from the inside like Otto did?

My season-ending, crazy prediction post. (Some of these were shamelessly stolen from this thread.)

Jax:  Crazy junkie ex-wife will start a custody battle, trapping him in Charming
Tara:  Nerve damage destroys her surgeon skills, becomes a fertility doc in Charming; sheriff’s wife is first client
Otto:  Somehow snookered the DA, no blowback on SAMCRO, just wanted Bobby to “sweat,” dies in prison
Linc:  Sting on IRA/SAMCRO falls apart, turns his interest to Charming Heights
Unser:  Dies in season finale, it is Gemma’s fault
Clay:  Severely wounded, incapable of leading SAMCRO
Gemma:  Continues her power play as the show’s true antagonist
Juice:  no clue
Opie:  no clue
Tig:  no clue
Chibs:  no clue

Stive - Maybe, and that would seem likely. That said, I hope Bobby gets out.

It's going to be interesting to see what the club going to do now.

Opie isn't going to lead the club, Clay is going to be out and now Bobby is stuck behind bars. That leaves Jax, and I think it's why he won't be able to leave like he wants to.

This is very Godfather III like for Jax...."just when I thought I was out, they pull me back in!"

The way I see everythign playing out....Jax will take over, Clay will be ancillary, but will make a push in a season or two to try to take it back over, Jax ends him, and then we see Jax riding off into the sunset towards Oregon to be with his wife and boys.

After reading Under & Alone, I can't keep from thinking that one of the MC members is undercover with the ATF, etc. It seems pretty consistant that most MCs have been infiltrated.

I could actually Juice being the infiltrator and he tried to hang himself because he got too close to the club.

So excited for tonight. Too bad I don't get FX's East coast feed like I do for AMC and HBO.

That doesn't make any sense. If that were the case, why would the federal prosecutor be having to blackmail him into doing all of this? And if he were an undercover, and killed Miles, why wouldn't he just skip out on his undercover role, tell all he knows to the authorities, and he's free and clear to go into witness protection. Instead, he freaks out, and tries to cover his tracks in the club?

I'm not buying it.

Wow! I had no idea who Sonny Barger was until you said that. He's only been Lenny the Pimp to me. So SOA has both Lenny & Happy being played by legit Hells Angels? Interesting.

Romeo lied to Jax about Otto cutting a deal, I really hate the cartel.

LOL when Tara flipped the script on Gemma. "He's mine."

Blood feud with the Niners will spill over into next season. Tig may not live to see the end of the series.

Why is Opie's shooting of Clay any worse than Clay killing two members, having one old lady killed, and trying to have another old lady killed? This placing the blame for Clay's shooting on african-americans/niners is going to open up a whole new bloody can of worms, and loose cannon Tig may get it from any number of directions. Did anyone else get the impression Gemma was jacking with Tig at the hospital?

And what's Romeo's angle with lying to Jax about Otto's involvement with the DA?

Any chance the cartel cut a deal to sell out the Irish and SAMCRO?

damn, and I was really hoping they'd be the heroes of this season.
Stive
How long do you want to ignore this user?
Ok....gotta admit that overall I liked the episode last night (a lot), but I did get aggravated about how they started the "new war" with the niners. To me, it seemed like a really cheap shoehorn job of immediately making the "two african-americans" comment into Tig going off the handle and trying to gun down LaRoy/niners by himself. I realize this sets up a whole new war for next season and gives the club another problem to solve/get out of, but there were numerous ways they could have done it without it being the shoe-string thin way they did.

I can't figure out the Romeo/Otto angle either. Couple of theories (although weak ones):

-Potter is some kind of rogue DA operating autonomously without the usual chains of command, thus out of the eye of the Cartel's informants.

-Romeo is lying to set the Sons up to get pinched because he's had numerous problems with them so far.

-Potter is on Romeo's payroll and they'll use the Otto thing to blackmail the Sons down the line...but it's of no use now.

These are weak, but it's what I came up with off the top of my head.

I am glad though that Sutter made the finale 2 episodes. I don't think they could wrap up enough things in just 20 more minutes of programming. It'll be tough to do it in 45 minutes.

Oh...and Tara is now a target on Gemma's radar. She's the only one that knows just how involved Unser and Gemma were in JT's death. I think Gemma realized that last night and changed from loving/caring mother-in-law to self preservation.

Exactly what I was thinking!

How long do you want to ignore this user?
I think Romeo lied because if there was a threat of Otto selling out the club then the meeting with the Irish wouldn't happen. Romeo tells Jax that Otto has not sold out the club so the agree to meet. Also I think Gemma decided to come clean with Jax because with everything clay has done she knows his days are numbered. With Clay gone she loses her control over the club. She needs Jax to stay and be president. I think next season there is conflict between her wanting Jax to stay and Tara wanting to leave. I can even se her "helping" Jax's ex with the custody fight or something like that to get him to stay.

My thoughts as well, when Romeo said that.

I dont think he's simply trying to insure the meet happens, if he knows the Feds will be watching. They only way he's ok with that, is if he's setting someone up, like the Irish (or he got bad intel...we I'd doubt).

That will be an interesting story line to watch. I dont think she fears Tara telling Jax anything about her and Unser, but she's pissed that Tara is still taking her boy away. Gemma went to great lengths to talk Jax into taking 'his seat' at the head of the table, only to have Tara convince him to abandon her and the club 30 minutes later.

On a side note, does anyone else cringe at Tara's acting? Everyone else on the show is good (even the real life MC members, that are non-actors who have made appearances)....but man, she delivers her line so corny, and tries to make that 'I'm serious' face, that looks silly.

Happy doesn't need to deliver any lines. He just needs to sit there and look bad ass.

But I agree with you on Tara. I think I alluded to that during last seasons thread on here. She's had one powerful scene (that I can remember)....the one a few weeks back where she freaked out in the hospital. Other than that she has always been REALLY weak.
