Last night might have been my favorite episode to date. Very emotional, and very different types of scenes throughout the show. The thought that Jax was inching away from the club, and seeing what being a family man was like. The disappointment when their ticket was taken away (Tara's hand). The tense storyline as Clay snuck around behind everyone's back, trying to keep a lid on everything. The scene with Clay/Gemma, and Especially the scene with Opie and Jax which was great. I didnt know if Opie was going to sit there, or tear Jax's head off, or cry with him.
The beating Clay put on Gemma was tough to watch, but it seemed to seal his fate, and throw the storyline down a certain direction.
quote:
Gema will play it off as he didn't do it I'm sure.
I'm curious to see how that plays out. She obviously can't hide it, and told Unser that Clay couldnt be saved was going to die at the hands of his Son. You also have Clay with obvious wounds, and living at the clubhouse....so I dont think this will be explained away.
A lot of things are going to hit the fan in the next couple of episodes.
Opie finds his dad...and Unser in the cabin. Jax is going to find out about Gemma, and presumably Clay. When he does, what motivation would Gemma have to spare Jax of any of the details?
Does the season end with Jax reading the letters?
