Why didn't they quickly follow up on the AT lead? They were still trudging through the swamp and stacking laundry baskets when some guy saw BL in a truck. Is he "off trail" on the AT ? If so, how long can he survive off trail?

Seems that way...but still breaking news.

Assuming that is the case, "if" he had any sense of remorse, perhaps he has left a note or video explaining what happened. Would bring some sense of closure for Petito family.

They had been concentrating on a fairly large "nature preserve". This is a nearby "environmental park" which doesn't look to be very big. Not the sort of place you go to camp out.

Yeah, I took a road trip to the Rose Bowl in an RV with one of my best friends. We were pretty tired of each other by the time we got home.

4 months? Hell no. No thanks.

They have apparently found the bodies of four other people, but the Laundrie's attorney said they did find Brians stuff with this body or part of a body.

Doubt he was in a flash flood. I think he just went off to eat it.

Some of his personal items are found there
Some partial remains were found there
The Medical Examiner has been called to that location.

I'm no genius, but it looks like this story is over.
