I was trying to find that info as well. The only thing I could see that might have been confused is that several bodies(five from what I read) have been found in the course of the search all together. One in North Carolina, and others in Cali, Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. Yeah, he was definitely talking about the other bodies found in the search, not bodies found today. Sorry I wasn't clear. They have found four or five bodies total while on this case
NEW: Laundrie family attorney Steven Bertolino says Chris and Roberta and 2 officers were spread out on either side of the trail. He says Chris found a bag containing some of Brian's items -- and officers found the backpack on the other side of trail which was near the remains.

This suggests that (without predation) 60% of the body's tissues could have been consumed by insects/bacteria/etc. within a week. Ground contact, heat, and moisture seem to make the process more rapid.Sea Speed said:
