Let's see...

His parents told the police that was a favorite spot of his
Some of his personal items are found there
Some partial remains were found there
The Medical Examiner has been called to that location.

I'm no genius, but it looks like this story is over.

Nope, his folks still need some justice.

I want to know how long it's been underwater? And is there a chance this is another missing person and not BL? Maybe he didn't mean to kill himself? Maybe he got caught in some sort of flash food?
They have apparently found the bodies of four other people, but the Laundrie's attorney said they did find Brians stuff with this body or part of a body.

Doubt he was in a flash flood. I think he just went off to eat it.

I was trying to find that info as well. The only thing I could see that might have been confused is that several bodies(five from what I read) have been found in the course of the search all together. One in North Carolina, and others in Cali, Colorado, Utah, and Wyoming. Still don't see anything about finding other bodies in the reserve.

Yeah, he was definitely talking about the other bodies found in the search, not bodies found today. But with this body, the Laundrie attorney did come out and say some of Brian's possessions were found today, not specifically about the body.
Quote:

"After a brief search off a trail that Brian frequented some articles belonging to Brian were found," attorney Steven Bertolino said in a text to The Associated Press. "As of now law enforcement is conducting a more thorough investigation of that area."

Fbi statement

Found backpack and journal along with some human remains in an area that has mostly been under water until recently.

Will take days to process the scene

If the M.E.'s office is out there, they found human remains. They don't just randomly go to a park to poke around.

That wasn't what was in question. The original post said "They have apparently found the bodies of four other people, but the Laundrie's attorney said they did find Brians stuff with this body or part of a body."

...which led me to think they had found 4 other bodies at the reserve, and not just in the duration of the search.

Sorry I wasn't clear. They have found four or five bodies total while on this case

Well...maybe 4.35 if part of Brian's is in a gator belly...

They have gone out there multiple times with the police.

The place they searched today had been heavily flooded the last month or so, so searching there hasn't been easy.

It seems extremely fast for his remains to now be bones. Smart ass gator comments aside, i really don't see how his body would only be bones this quickly.

This suggests that (without predation) 60% of the body's tissues could have been consumed by insects/bacteria/etc. within a week. Ground contact, heat, and moisture seem to make the process more rapid.

This link suggests that once found, vultures could skeletonize a body in 5 hours.

You have gabby who it sounded like was mostly intact in the wide open after about a month. How long has laundries been missing? Since Sept 14th? I wonder how long the area was flooded, and if it was a significant amount of time I feel like that would delay the decomposition process.

Either way, its wild how fast we can become just a pile of bones.
