He's taking zoom questions from reporters. All of his answers are "we are only required to release cause of death and method... homicide by strangulation." Every other answer is evasive. Just don't take questions and release a statement.

gun shot or some other means could be impulsive and in the blink of an eye. Death by strangulation takes time and violent effort over a sustained period of time.

She was found Sept 19. The suspected date she went missing was Aug 27 or 28. Police encounter as Aug 12

She was found on the 19th. She was last seen anywhere on the 27th. She was probably killed on or just after the 27th.

Context was someone asked what is like for a small town coroner to do this under the national spotlight, and he went on a soapbox comment on how many domestic violence deaths occur around the nation that do not get media attention.
