If he wasn't charged with a crime, his parents helping him a few weeks ago isn't against the law.
They can be accessories to murder if they helped him conceal evidence

He has to be dead. I'm betting he killed himself then was consumed by an alligator or python.

Or that is just what he wants everyone to think...

If you're going to off yourself, why would you run into the swamp to do it? The fact that he ran shows intent of getting away with it. He's not going to off himself until the law is closing in.

Who knows if he offed himself or not, but when you think about it, hiding out to escape justice sounds incredibly difficult. You have to find a safe place to live off the grid and find a way to get basic necessities while there is a nationwide manhunt for you. The only feasible way to quietly leave the country is to take a boat off the Florida coast in the dead of night and not get spotted by anyone.

I do not envy him right now. But I'm erring on the side of him NOT committing suicide because I think if his family really thought that was a possibility they'd either be looking for him or cooperating with police.

again... Everyone assuming he even entered the reserve.

I'd be shocked if they found him in Florida.

The biggest issue is money.

Covid has taken care of the identity issue. You can walk in anywhere with a gaiter and hat and no one would recognize you. Fixes the camera problem too. So you can get your necessities if you have the cash.

Agreed. Think they are completely wasting their time looking in the reserve. He had too long a window to run. By the time the feds started looking for him he could have easily been in Mexico.

It wouldn't have been too difficult for him to travel to texas then slip across the rio grande into Mexico, either.

They ended up issuing a warrant because he withdrew $1000 with Gabby's debit card after she was supposed to be dead. $1000 cash can go a very long way in Mexico while he is getting himself established.

Maybe, they charged him with the unauthorized use of the device (assumedly Gabby's card) for goods of at least $1,000. Could be cash or other.

We aren't being told the actual value or what that was.

True. There was also some claims that people saw Brian leave with a travel trailer when his parents say he was leaving for the reserve. That may have been disproven, IDK, but that could have also been $1000+ of food & supplies which could also keep him going for quite some time anywhere.

Purely speculation on my part, but knowing he may need quick cash, what are the odds he emptied that account of as much money as he could (multiples of $20)? It's an in for a dime in for a dollar situation at the point he began driving home.

One of Gabby's friends claims BL once survived for weeks/months in the Appalachians. There weren't any details provided about what exactly that meant, what supplies he had initially, etc., but she was trying to communicate that he could likely survive in the wild for an extended period of time.

I'm betting he's alive somewhere living relatively comfortably.

They will find him weeks or months from now after we've forgotten. He will make a mistake or someone he interacts with will squeal.

This thread will be bumped. Water cooler talk at the office or virtual meeting rooms will mention, "hey, they found brian Laundrie today. Can't believe that rascal survived so long. He deserves what's coming to him. The parents too!"

It's possible, though I don't know about the "relatively comfortably" part. Eric Robert Rudolph was on the run for five years.

I don't think he ever went to the reserve. I think that was staged. I think he and his parents collected as much as they could and he was gone long ago. Likely in Latin America.

Is it confirmed the parents are holed up in their house? Anyone seen them since they've been back from their trip to police station?

Tend to agree with the rancher; he is not in the reserve.

He is gone...as Dog surmises, likely somewhere in Appalachia.

His parents said they haven't seen him since Sept 14th.

When was the last time he was confirmed to be seen by anyone other than his parents?

If he's guilty , I think they will find that it was premeditated. He told the police in that stop that he had no phone. Who doesn't have a phone at that age?

I was only half kidding when I said he could have headed down to the Keys and hopped in a boat to Cuba. When I lived in Florida I became friends with two sisters. They were murdered. Their murderer fled to the Keys. They caught him when he was featured on America's Most Wanted and the motel manager recognized him.

A public records request shows that Brian Laundrie's mother Roberta checked into a campground at Fort De Soto park in early September. The attorney said the family camped together from 9/6-9/7.

A tip sent to Dog the Bounty Hunter said the family was there twice from 9/1-9/3 and then again from 9/6-9/8. There are claims that 3 people entered on the 6th but only 2 left on the 8th. There are also claims that there should be video surveillance showing the car going through a toll checkpoint to get to the park.

All of this is before the Laundries said they last saw him on the 14th.
