Florida Fish and Wildlife chopper booked it out of the preserve. Sarasota County Sheriff's helicopter appeared to have landed on the far east side of the reserve and then lift back up. Both appear to be headed to Venice Municipal Airport.

So has anyone besides the parents admitted to seeing him since sept 1? I think both his sister and the neighbors haven't seen him. He might be well gone or very dead, which would explain his silence pretty well.

This was after a pretty targeted and extensive search in part of the reserve based on flight paths of the choppers.

Could be. Thought about that as well. But not sure why they wouldn't stagger their fuel runs.

Also, the Sherrif's helicopter didn't do much running around. Went from Venice to the east side of the reserve. Dropped down. Picked back up and headed straight to Venice Airport.

Just some observations...probably more nothing burgers.

I thought I read that he was riding bikes with his mother around the neighborhood before he "disappeared," but good question. Were there no media pics of him at home? I assume he was holed up in the home once the news blew up.

Unless he went out there and killed himself, I think it's a misdirection. Not sure if his parents are in on it or suckers of it. I tend to think he's weighted himself down and drowned himself.

I originally thought it was nothing more than the parent's sending law enforcement on a wild goose chase. Then they called the search off in the reserve citing that they done everything that they could and I was certain it was nothing more than a wild goose chase (especially after learning about the details of the Mustang). Now they are back in the reserve the day after gathering a bunch of evidence from the Laundrie house and targeting a very specific area.
