So not being able to see the match tonight can someone give me the positives and negatives (outside of the fact we lost lol)?
Didn't see the first set. But there were so many chances to win the second set, but serving errors killed everyone of them. Couldn't put Wisconsin away. It was brutal to watch
It was a great match, obviously we need to clean things up. Logan looked like an all American. Our middles can hold their own against a top 10 team. Waak made some great setting decisions. At times, especially the second set, Hellmeuth looked like a difference maker. She took off a head or two tonight.
Not so great. Serving. Timely misses and way to consistent misses. Passing wasn't that great. Ball control was very questionable. Defense was both a positive and negative depending on the point.
If we clean up a few things, this team can make some noise. We are still a step behind the top teams, but way better this year than last year. The vibe is noticeable. The fight is there. I'm interested to see the TU match. They don't have the height that Wisconsin has, which bodes in our favor.

I don't think it was that bad to watch considering who we have played all year. We weren't hat far off. Clean up a few things and this match is close

Not sure if I'll go back and watch it but looking at the game stats, we don't have the defense to play at this level yet. Wisconsin didn't hit below .250 in any set and even hit .500 in set 2.
Playing the easy schedule also probably didn't help get the team playing at the speed necessary to compete. Not a lot of blocks for what should be a solid blocking Aggie team. I think the team blocking will get better each game once conference play begins. Too bad Texas is first up.
8 digs for the libero is also not going to cut it. I watched the Wisc vs Marquette game which was a pretty decent game that went 4 set. Marquette has multiple players in double digit digs. Wisc's libero had 22 digs.
