we seem to have a bad lull in many games but have been able to recover so far. This one feels a little better due to the domination in the 4th set.

The middle portion of the game, we were not passing and digging well, many of which were hits from their star OH (21 kills). This seemed to lead to off target sets. Also could not block anything for a good chunk of time. But it all came together in the final set. They looked really good in all aspects to close it out.

Nice win over our highest RPI opponent of the young season so far!

Anyone know how reliable these rankings are?? The Massey Ratings? They have us number 19 in the country! But with a 160th strength of schedule and their numbers are expecting us to go 10-8 the rest of the way

Dont know but RPI Futures had us at 16-10 for the season before the UNI match coming in at #32

UNI was at 27 so i imagine of our expected 10 losses one was to them.

Here is the thing Wisconsin and Texas are beatable this season. This will not be an easy task and expected to lose those matches but we have Texas at home next Friday and Wisconsin isnt playing it best ball this year compared to previous seasons and are very tall

I didnt see any of the match but Manning getting some reps and Lopuyo having 3 kills is a good sign

Manning as a server last season had the most aces by far (most errors as well) but if making the double sub switch it would be good to see it when Lednicky serves and if they (Manning/Lopuyo) are on give Logan a full back row roation off every once and a while. The issue with this is we have our OH subbed on back row so we would use to many subs if a high side out scoring set.

Announcers mentioned that UNI ran out of subs during the 3rd set. Don't think anyone anticipated going to 30-28.

Me, my wife, and my 14 yo Libero were screaming at Humphrey last night! At least push to the back corner of 1 or something.

Teeing up a kill every time was so dumb. That 3rd set was pretty poor play overall.

4th set they cleaned much of it up.

Perkins approach timing seemed to be off too which made some sets look bad. She was too early even for quick sets last night; I think almost every attack she had she was already descending from her jump as the ball came off the setters' hands and reaching for the set just to get it over…

interesting that the NCAA allows 32 contests this year I believe before post season. WE only scheduled 26 matches total. wonder if playing 6 less macyhes then allowed might come back to haunt us if we drop 1-2 that we should win

With Wisconsin as one of the two non con matches left we should be good RPI wise IF we handle our business

We could have played another home tourney and gotten three more matches and not been close to an issue with matches
