Our ladies are back in action tonight with a huge road game against sec powerhouse Florida tonight at Reed Arena on national television! The SEC Network will be showcasing us against ranked Florida. The record may not be what Florida is used to or what their preseason rankings indicated, but this is still a very talented Florida team! They are led by their all American OH/RS #18 Kennedy Martin! She is 6'6 but very explosive! She averages nearly 4.5 kills a set and had almost 500 last year! She will be set by one of the best in Alexis Stuckey who missed last year due to an ACL tear! She has slowly been working her way back in, but when she's good to go her presence is felt! She is a force at the jet on defensively and isn't afraid to get a kill either! They also have weapons in outsides AC Fitzpatrick and Isabel Martin! Florida's strength is serving where they lead the SEC so that really scares me! The game will come down to serve receive… Florida is coming off a match where they got swept by South Carolina in a strange result, so like us avenging our loss to LSU, Florida will be in the same exact spot looking to get back in the win column!
