4 attacking errors for Humphrey in this set and we keep setting her… and two more of LSU's points were serves at her where she received them horribly, that's 6 of 8 LSU's points

Yes, she has been disappointing all season
Another service error….this is dumb and bad volleyball
We might as well serve underhand… we might be the softest serving team in the country
Well this is a huge disappointment to what has been an excellent season
DS #3 with serve out and then sends serve receive back over the net…back row is literally her only job
Humphrey had been playing so well, then just completely self destructed to start this 4th set and put us behind… that was some ugly volleyball by her

She didn't have many errors today but she rarely gets a kill

I mentioned Humphrey playing well, but a few good sets were diminished by her single-handedly giving LSU so many points in that 5th set, she had 4 attacking errors and LSU kept serving at her and her poor serve receive resulted in at least 3 lsu free balls in a row… she's played bad in many matches, but her in this 5th set left me speechless… I'll admit we don't get there without her play today, but it was all for nothing because that 5th set was absolutely awful by her and awful all around! She's been playing poorly most of the year, are we suppose to forget about it because she had a few good sets against one of the worst teams in the conference…

YOU want to rag on her even when she performs better than everyone else offensively besides Perkins in the middle which will usually have a much higher percentage
Last time was Lexi looked really good but had 5 kills 6 errors for negative
I get it but sometimes you have to look at the numbers overall and today was a TEAM loss but you want to rag on the best offensive player on the pins today
I can agree with other on her being "safe" or timid" at times and it is justified some but not today

Passing was terrible, Waak seemed intimidated by being back on her old court. Her set locations and decision making were not good. Her defense was also very not good.

I had to watch the game later but the combination of the terrible camera production and accidentally finding out the results of the game made me take a nap instead of finishing out the game.
Who the hell was operating the video switchboard? I couldn't tell what was happening half the time.
The only thing I could see was what looked like bad sets leading to a lot tips. The bad 2nd set with all of the hitting errors, were those a result of poor sets or just our hitters frustrated? Maybe the first time I've questioned Morrison. He should have benched Waak for a while.
It seemed we never were able to adjust to Robinson. They pretty much set her whenever they could.

Each school obviously has its own video production team. This broadcast was just overdirected, with cameras trying to "follow the action" than static full court views during play. You ended up missing so much, particularly the offensive and defensive sets on each said.
I did like not having commercials during breaks. On the other hand, we were not treated to review replays on challenges.
Generally, I just like having the opportunity to watch away matches, even with the homer commentary.

Stanford sweeps SMU but won the 3rd set 35-33

I only watched the 3rd set. Seems like not a lot of defense in that set at least.
Noticed Brooke Frasier is part of the 2 libero rotation for SMU. But the liberos have very few digs combined.

It's kind of fun watching SMU make noise in their first season back in a P4 conference both in football and volleyball.
After the death penalty and then being left for scraps for so long I can't help but be pleased for their fans.

Kind of feels like they are selling out for a good start. If you look at most of their rosters, they are going to get depleted by graduation. This feels like the only year they have going for them(maybe it's just football and volleyball)
That may be, as they certainly sold out to get a seat at the major conference table (they're kicking back all of their share of the conference TV money to the OG conference members for the next nine years for letting them in the club).
The football thing is probably more sustainable since I imagine that's what most of the boosters have been salivating for and will be willing to err, pony up for as far as the transfer portal and recruits.

Their rosters or both are similar, sold out in the transfer portal while also having a good mix of returners. Their volleyball team though, huge step back for them next year. This is going to be it for them, no sustainable success
