There were some first game jitters and mental lapses, but I liked the way they played! There is a lot of versatile on the offensive side, lots of ways to score! We can attack from the pins, we can attack from the middle! The middle is going to be a huge factor for us with Cos-Okaplla and Perkins! Lednicky looks very strong, Hellmuth will be a great addition on the outside, as will Humphrey! Back row started off sloppy, but the trio of Underwood, Stinson, and Thomas will elevate our defensive receive compared to last year! Maddie Waak played really well and got a lot more comfortable as the match went on! We can improve our serving and hopefully our block becomes stronger the more we play!

Next match is tomorrow against McNeese State at 11am in the same gym, but won't be televised! I'll try my best to provide updates!

I think it was mindset! They came out swinging hard and with no hesitation! Passing improved and Maddie Waak looked great!

It'll be our second game of the season today against McNeese! We're still playing at South Alabama! It'll be the season opener for them and to go up against a Texas A&M team will be a daunting task! They are led by a strong Libero in Bailey Tillman who was the Southland Conference where they finished tied for 3rd! They went on a 13-5 run to end the season after a slow start! However, they have 13 newcomers which is wild! Our ladies finished off the match string against South Alabama completely dominating them in the 3rd set! Hopefully after some jitters they found their identity and can come out strong against McNeese state! Game will not be televised
