These engines are designed to last only about 6 races. Looks like MB took one of their engines and set it up for bit higher performance, but sacrifice some durability. If that's what they did, then it was a great strategy by them.

Would've been nice to see MB win it honestly. I don't think there's any doubt it would have happened. But it would've been a more fun race.

My guess is Red Bull didn't think to do it in time. This is all a guess by me. I read an article after the Brazil race that speculated about this strategy based on how MB changed engines for Bottas.

Mainly grid penalties. Remember, Ham had a significant grid penalty that he made up completely in Brazil.

MB's speed advantage is huge. Without some unexpected events this is over. Boring end after the first lap BS. MB has schooled RB since Brazil.
