Red Bull is all in on getting the championship for Max this weekend, since they are likely out of the constructors competition. If the constructors battle was closer, they might not have done that.Goldie Wilson said:

I mean Perez did his normal qualifying on the second lap. They did it pretty flawlessly. Perez is a poor qualifier anyway (considering the car he's driving)

Yes! Awesome to see Max on pole. Awesome MB and RB will have different strategies. And awesome that Max and Lewis are 1-2 on their own.
Lando and Checo on softs. Do they challenge Lewis on mediums in opening laps? If Max starts well, could you imagine Checo vs Lewis in first few laps fighting it out; lots of potential story lines.
I think the medium tires that Max Q2 had a flat spot which I think caused the different strategy to go to softs which work. I bet RB is going to try the undercut tomorrow
If Hamilton doesn't get a good start, but Lando and Checo do, he could be fourth after turn 1. The softs generally grip better on the start. Going to be an interesting start, for sure.

I'm not the biggest fan of that rule (I'd be OK with a free change if you stay on the same tyre choice) but if it is available, do it.
Redbull needs to get Perez ahead of Hamilton at the start. Lando won't put up much of a fight, so even if he gets ahead at turn one I bet he will be dispatched by lap 2.
