Honestly I'm just sad we didn't get to see Hamilton defend. They're that much faster, crazy to pick up that much speed in two weeks.

I think what they mean is the additional 20k is probationary. It goes away if he doesn't have another infraction through the end of next year.

Yeah, before he was able to get the flag off to the side and slightly above the intake, there were a few close moments that probably had the team engineer ****ing their pants.

Wish we could go back to 2010-2012 when there were 24 seats available. A shame Piastri is going to be wasted for a year doing nothing. Hope Pourchaire doesn't end up in that position for 2023.

Hopefully the new engine manufacturers entering, and the customer team model will attract a couple of new teams after the new regs have a year or two. I would think if the field gets more competitive there will be more interest.

I have tried watching Formula E and I just can't get into it. I reminds me of watching cars at an amusement park ride just bounce around as the race (slowly) around a rather boring track.

Only way it makes sense. Gio is a mid pack driver with a mid pack car that's only been in for two years. He makes a good 2nd driver IMO. Why you would bring Bottas in and then pair him with a rookie is stupid. But as the sport goes, you can pay for a driver seat. Haas, Aston Martin, now Alfa

Similar to what Red Bull did after Silverstone with Albon. Won't change a thing. Let them race. This is about the limit of letting them race but the run off was grippy and safe.

It's really funny seeing Mercedes in their current position. In recent years, when asked about other challegnes, Toto's made comments about being above these type of things...just let them race.

But as soon as their stranglehold at the top is in jeopardy, they're challenging everything.

His interview with Martin before the race Sunday made me chuckle a bit. He is not a happy camper.
