so who gets fired then? you can't just hire spurrier and not fire someone. in this scenario of yours, Spav stays on. Where is the cut made, and how do you adjust for the position that the fired coach was responsible for?
Christensen probably needs to go, OLine has looked bad most of the year...even simple technical things like keeping your shoulders square is hit or miss.
And its a given Spavy needs to be gone.

I know Rojo stated that Sumlin plans on keeping Spav on as he still sees "value" in keeping him on staff but I am going to ignore that for a minute and assume he is going to get the axe.
If what others are saying about Sumlin trying to find Spav a new gig so he won't tarnish his "coaching tree", why have there been no whispers of Spav talking to [insert team name here] about a position?
1.) Spav is staying on in some form or fashion.
2.) We are not getting a new OC.
3.) Sumlin really is a true mastermind at keeping things under wraps.

Although I would find OBC an intriguing hire, I would be shocked to see it happen TODAY. There is virtually no talk outside of one lone person. This would be the most extreme tight-lipped hire in Aggie history with all our hot air BMA's not leaking it out with more sources. There have been no other signs pointing this way.
Edit: I notice Irish is up early today sweating this one out. I was thinking about him when I took my retrievers out this morning.
