Even ignoring the ludicrous idea that Steve Spurrier might come to A&M to be OC...
If Steve Spurrier to A&M was a real thing to the point it was a "done deal" it would be all over the news. Steve Spurrier is one of the biggest college football celebrities that there is. Instead we are to believe that its is so done deal, that rumors are able to leak out through one person here on a message board and yet there is no media at all sniffing this out.
Meanwhile we don't even have an opening for OC or QB coach or anything for that matter.

Chavis is known, just not as widely as Spurrier.
Rojo was talking about him being hired before that article appeared.
I do expect someone like Brent Z or somebody like that to at least give this a passing mention at the rate people keep trying so hard to make themselves believe it. Unless of course he's got sources within the AD laughing at him when he brings it up or something.

As for South Carolina..the coach before him was freaking Lou Holtz. Yeah real shock that they could ever hire a guy like Spurrier. Of course we all would have fallen out of our chairs if South Carolina had hired Steve Spurrier as their offensive coordinator, because the very idea of it is dumb.
