This must be an old thing. We'll I'm old I guess at 38, but I was born and raised in Austin, went to HS with a good number of people who went to UTSA. They root for the sips very little, only as a generic hometown team type thing (which has long been the strategy of the sips and why pro sports has never made it to Austin).

But if it's UTSA vs anyone, especially tu, they're all about their roadrunners. No questions asked.

When UGA got walked off, the whole place was devastated. Pretty similar to what you'd see at Olsen. But when 'sip got punked by little brother on their home field, it's no big deal. If sip can't win and buy the t-shirt, they don't even care, for the most part. For better or worse, they're not emotionally invested.
