NCAA released a statement on the Anson Aroz (Oregon) ejection Friday.

In short, it would have been obstruction but that is overruled by the "malicious intent" of Aroz. And malicious is defined as (1) no attempt to slide prior to the collision (definitely as legs and buttocks on the ground) and (2) no attempt to avoid the collision. There's also a "contact above the waist" consideration.

So the Vandy side of the bracket 1-4-5-8 has only Auburn at 2-0 with 4 SEC teams playing elimination games today.
The 2-3-5-6 side still has LSU, Tenn and Ark at 2-0 with 4 teams playing elimination games.

Only Alabama went 0-2.
