I have never understood the interview a coach when he is supposed to be doing his job thing, why can't they just interview him during a commercial break and then just play the interview when they come back
If they have to do it, I like the interview of the prior game starter. He's the least involved in the current game.

IMO the previous AB should be taken into consideration once a batter walks on a 3-0 count. It would make the Olsen Field crowd look more baseball savvy and attuned to what is a going on on the field. So if I had my way I would start with Ball 8 in the example given but I've lost that battle a long time ago.

I sat upstairs from 1991 to 2002. It used to be that someone keeping score would correct the crowd on the ball count, and they'd get it right. That's ancient history though.

The commentator even mentioned it in the pre-game intro. Said the crowd was still filtering in. I'm sure POS is pissed, but hopefully not as pissed as he will be at the end of this game. But that pop fly that just blew over the fence will improve his mood.
