It was obstruction, but like I've said before, the most important thing isn't the rule but the jersey. They would never call that on Texas. If it was A&M it would have been called obstruction 100% of the time.

I think he was initially setup legally in front of the plate but definitely moved into a position of obstruction to make the catch. No idea if they got it right by the letter but I think it's right call.

Both were 50/50 and werent the worst calls ive ever seen. Im guessing this homeplate ump has been bad all game
