I've worked with these guys for a long time and know them pretty well, and it absolutely sounds like "if we can't have it, then neither can you." Very unfortunate.

They said every person in their office has to wear proximity bracelets that buzz when they are standing too close to someone. Wtf

Which is why an artificial surface makes sense. To keep the grass alive, they'd need to keep it open all day, close around 4 PM and crank the A/C. Now we can have an outdoor feel more often.

If you really want to know why the artificial surface makes sense, lets just ask Mr. Gigem how many events/games they have been running through there the last three weeks.

That will provide your answer.

This is what I keep thinking. I hope he is the power threat he was always supposed to be. He's got to say healthy. And he is a power threat but he's also a career .208 hitter. He's got to do better than that.
