Felt like that was a very pointless endeavour. Neither team really did anything to win the game. Both teams were saddled with a player who was hell bent on losing the game for them (Gravenberch vs Fofana). At the end of the day, I'm just happy I didn't have to watch Xabi and Hendo celebrate beating Liverpool at Anfield.

Draw is on the way...

I like the league cup solely because it gives the bench players and youngins extra minutes. You never know when they will need to play more due to injuries. It's also a mentality issue. IMO, the best teams try to win every competition, no matter which players are on the pitch.

For sure, they are legit. Way early, but beat Arsenal tomorrow and you have 4 within 3 pts of the lead. Would look a lot different than only MC and Arsenal pulling away competing for the title (which is the way it seemed a few weeks ago). And the battle for the top 4/5 looks brutal with many teams in play.

And Man U in a relegation battle if they don't make a change

I think the change United need to make is benching like half of their players. There's just no way Martinez, McGuire, Dalot, and Santos need to be playing right now. I really believe if you sat them that they'd be getting at least a lot more draws than losses. They need to move on from half the roster.

It's time to move on from Alisson. If he's not going to give you the elite decision-making and distribution of the ball, then idk what he does well at this point in his career. I'd give Mamardashvili some looks in EPL games as the year goes on.

We have to upgrade at least one wingback spot in the winter. We cannot continue to get nothing from those spots. He's just lost out there. Araujo is at least a plus defender and is willing to get in the box.

Great response by Liverpool since the conceded goal. Been attacking and the far more threatening team along with possession as well. Great to see.

It really does suck to see him fall off. A salt-of-the-earth human who was the world's best keeper for probably 6-8 years. Just a true delight.

Better response from Kerkez too. At least he's stepped up his game.

The game is super congested when we get the ball anywhere near Arsenal's box. Just absolutely no time or space. They've tried the one-two touch game with Barcola, Wirtz and Isak and it's just not there.

I expect we'll see Szoboszlai for Wirtz, Gravenberch for Nyoni and Rio for Gakpo, and Munoz for Barcola around 65-70.

Besides the mistake from Alli, great first half against a team like Arsenal. See how the 2nd half goes, but you can see the vast improvement in the last few games.

Arsenal obviously just a great squad and so hard to breakdown when they have a lead. Needed the equalizer in the first half when we are on top of them. So much energy spent on the press and trying to get back in it. Been a great effort so far though
