We all know how that felt last season after starting 5-0-0.

This league is way too good from top to bottom. Every single EPL team has money, coaches, etc. to be successful. No one is going to run away with it anymore.

I wonder if Arsenal is starting to feel the effects of the match load their players have endured. They did not look up for the intensity of Brighton. Title races and deep cup runs start to take their toll eventually.

Hope we go after than right winger playing for Trabzonspor in the Turkish league.

I'll say this though, this color commentator can blow me. Dude is the most negative, anti-Liverpool announcer I've heard and it's old. You can be critical without being a ****.

Completely toothless for 3 straight halves against meh competition. Just completely disjointed. Ive seen enough of Isak and Wirtz.

Isak is finding his form and it couldn't have come at a better time

Stephen Warnock is a huge red but I think he tries to be critical to avoid homerism and also because he loves and cares about the club.

I've noticed more than a few people on this thread who love Liverpool but **** all over the team week to week. And even more on the football board.

I hate Vitality stadium. It looks like the camera is mounted on a blade of grass. I also have several buried memories of waking up early and watching us getting beaten in that low angle slop fest.

Not pretty, but that's a tough place to play. The team controlled the game for most of the match.

Gakpo created another goal, but won't get an assist. He is still our only continuously dangerous threat.

Jacquet with another impressive display today. Him and VVD are two elite passing CBs with great positional awareness. In general, the defense feels calmer and more robust than last year.

Barcola still struggling to fit in. Just doesn't feel like there is enough space for him to utilize his strengths.

The whole attack and midfield is still just wildly unbalanced, and with playing Araujo we aren't really getting anything from the fullbacks either. I'm okay with it right now because they have locked in on defense, but I hope Iraola uses this international break to reevaluate how he's going to utilize the attackers. Because right now we just aren't getting anything out of Barcola, Munoz, Rio, Wirtz, Szoboszlai etc. We aren't really getting anything out of Isak either but he's just so lethal in front of the net, if the ball falls to him even once he's putting it in the back of the net.

Idk if you need to get back to a more traditional 4-3-3 or what, but it's just very unbalanced.

Jacquet was awesome and MOTM. Special player already.

Araujo continues to be a huge signing. Him and Jacquet have really stabilized the back line. 3 straight clean sheets in the PL since our championship season. We miss out on pushing forward and service with him, but oh well.

Winning at Vitality is really tough. Their first loss in 23 matches there.

Just got to figure out how to get the attack going. Barcola is so new obviously, but this is such as different animal in the PL and not being on the PSG juggernaut. Going to be interesting how that shake out, and take awhile.
