It's why I personally never relied on trying to fool the keeper, even though it worked somewhat for the Morocco converters.
If you hit your PK well, the keep has no chance. If you are trying to game the keeper, and he outdoes you at it, its a weak attempt and easy save.

Penalty kicks aren't necessarily about your attacking skill, though it's not remotely wrong to make that assumption.

A lot of my best pk-takers when I was coaching weren't necessarily forwards. Mentality is huge.

These guys gotta start going up there and hammering balls into the low corners. Penalty taking has become an exercise of over thinking for most of these guys who aren't up there taking regularly penalties for their clubs.

I said it yesterday…this trickery stuff needs to start going out of fashion
