Agree. Although I wouldn't be surprised to see England upset France or even Portugal upset Spain. But the chalk probably is Bra v Arg and Fra v Esp

i think our odds would have been much better had we not thrown away the win in game 1 against Wales. rewatching some of the game and listening to some former players, our guys were gassed.
Totally agree. Depth of talent and scoring goals allows you to rotate and rest key guys, which becomes huge in a tournament setting.
They've had some amazing passes into the final third and some gorgeous crosses. I'm becoming a huge fan of this team… and not just because my main teams are out. So fun to watch and such great fan support.La Bamba said:

I used to think we should change to endless 15 minute extra time period w/ silver goal but these guys are so gassed after 120 that penalties - as much as you might not like it - are the best way to settle it.
It's the world cup - we need at least one awesome match settled by penalties.

Interesting fact: for much of World Cup history if the game was tied after extra time they'd play again the next day.

Though I do think they should change the order from ABABABABAB to ABBAABBAAB. It's statically shown that the team that shoots first in the current configuration wins more frequently.
