I thought this place was under 'new' ownership. If that really is the case, they shouldn't do anything to this girl because it would make them look sooooo bad. It would ruin all the efforts they are making and statements they are claiming to try to save their name.

Sure it was easily dismissed. It should have been. The burden of proof was on AggieGrant to convince the board that what he said was true. Had I read this in January, I would have been unconvinced. Can't help but wonder why your school of honor and tradition is allowing those posters who have already been called out to make apologies haven't done so...
Please encourage them to make it right.

The main point in reading through the X Million posts is that he was being paid DURING the year and if the 1/100th is AP then this smells of a huge "cover up."

I don't want to rain on anyone's parade, but the "fact" that Grant's gf knew of this activity, does not connect the dots to Stoops or anyone else in the OU Athletic Department.
However, if she or Grant sent an email to the OU staff (Castiglione, Compliance, Stoops, etc), or called them, or wrote them a letter, and can provide proof that they did so, then there is a huge smoking gun.

I wouldn't call it "Ags eating their own," nor does it have anything to do with "being a school of honor and tradition."
Management of this site made that decision, unlike 99% of the internet, that you can't come on this board and make allegations of cheating at other schools without proof. It does nothing to help the board, and could in some cases open TexAgs up to liability.
Right or wrong, there is a certain "internet credibility" that many posters have, and that said poster didn't have at the time.

I'm abig fan of Big-12 football, but do miss the old Southwest Conference. After reading all of the comments I would only ask this. Do any of you really think that these type of going-ons with these car dealerships only happen at one school? I have first-hand knowledge that this has been going on since the early 80s and probably b/f then at schools in every division of the NCAA. Yes, it's happening at yopur school as well.
