Actually, I don't think we were wrong in taking this thread down originally. We pull many things off this site all the time that don't turn out to be true. Certainly you can understand that we can't let every unfounded allegation posted on this site by anonymous users stand.
Now, if AggieGrant were to have posted some proof – now that would have been a totally different story...

Ya think? Of course it was Peterson. Let's say he wants a $25000 used Lexus. Dealer says, I will give it to you for $300. Once it sees the light of day, the $300 suddenly became a 'down payment' for a loan that was not approved.
Big Red alleges that this is standard operating procedure, NCAA sweeps it under the rug, and Stoops breathes a sigh of relief.
The only question I have is who is the walk-on and why would a booster risk paying a walk-on? Sounds like a back-door scholarship to me.
