Went to the Space Cowboys game Sat. Still trying to get into this game so wife and I bought a 10 game package.
Place was absolutely packed as Altuve is rehabbing. He struck out once or twice, and hit 3 that we caught or grounder and thrown out at first. Anyway, he's getting pieces of the ball and the crowd loved him.
Grand slam in the bottom of the 6 for 6 runs and they went from 4-1 to 7-4 in an inning...that was fun.

Sounded like a lot of helmet. Very plastic sounding click when it happened. They didn't show a replay in the stadium. They also didn't show a replay of the cubs centerfielder making the catch.
The slowmo on tv looked like the helmet was already coming off and the ball hit it then. So perhaps it absorbed most of the energy rather than transmit it through to his skull.
